people don't understand man... when it's yours and the only one; that's what counts. no matter the cost, you love it and it's what makes you happy. guys, you'd spend money on what makes you smile. hp or not. fast or not...
Motonosity btw I love it and would totally do the same if I had the cheddar lol. Maybe candy apple red, bronze wheels, and some other flare lol. night man.
Motonosity man..., a pair of jwspeaker headlights would make this thang look so sick! Plus it would be a hell of a lot better than what we saw the other night lol
+Motonosity The audio mixdown on this is great man. Music lightly in the background, voice prominent but not overbearing, and then the ambient outside noises like the birds chirping. Great attention to sound detail man! And not to mention the visual editing as well, always on point! What cam are you using? Sick build sir, feel like you just got the stock ruckus! Didn't take long for you to make it your own, job well done :)
Thanks so much man! Glad to hear someone notice the subtleties. Recorded that background noise myself! haha. Cam info is in the description. A7Rii with a 28mm prime
Motonosity Sounded like you recorded it yourself, like birds chirping in the early morning in the backyard, haha. All those little subtleties and attention to detail make for a great video! I used to be heavily into audio production and sound design, hence why I noticed. You should checkout a music style called ambient garage, by UK artists like Asa and Sorrow. They're amazing at sound design like this, very organic and textured, with crisp clean mixdowns. Keep up the awesome work as always man, you set the bar high sir!
people that have less money to spend will always be envious of those who do, and how they spend their money. It's yours to spend, use it how you want! You earned it
At first I hated you after picking the ruckus over the grom, but now after you finished working on it, it's a hell of a bike! I'm hoping to build one I'm the future!
I'm buying a Ruckus this month because of this build series, I probably won't do anything near what you did but just seems like a fun bike to commute close to home with
i like that he can drive fast with his other bikes but puts so much energy and money in that scooter.i willnever understand why people think they for example do greet other motorcycle drivers, but look bad to scooter drivers, in the end we all have same hobby, driving , feel the air and , having fun, get head free, enjoying it.And i kno how it feels to drive something you have modded so it fits and looks like you want it, i reallylove your channel and what you do, please go on and give a shit on those haters, haters gonna hate...
You know I wasn't all that excited for this build when you anounced it. I still liked the supermoto build more, but this was still pretty cool. The final product is way sweeter than i thought it would be. Great work!
Seeing how many views you have you sure gathered an awesome following. People can whine about the price all they want, but this ruckus is insane cool. I really hope the TH-cam monies justify building these beyond any doubt. I'd love to see your garage full of awesome custom bikes. We love watching you build em, hopefully there's plenty more in the future.
That thing looks so good. If I saw that in a parking lot I'd wait for the owner to come out just to shake their hand and tell them they have a sick bike. Awesome work!
Love the build. I've been watching this series since the 2nd video and thanks to you I feel a lot more confident modding my Ruckus when I get it in May. I've never owned a bike and don't know much about them, but you've given a lot of insight on what do and not do for exactly what I want. Kudos
Guys, the parts were donated, meaning he didn't pay that price. Stop with the "you could have bought this," comments because they're irrelevant due to the fact that he didn't pay for anything but the stock ruckus and a couple cheap things here and there. Lol
Watched every video from day one, i am just happy to see it all put together finally after so many weeks lol. I like your builds so far. Keep it up Motonosity.
looks stellar! my two boys and I just binged watched the whole series. (great timing starting and stopping in two days) I enjoy building things and making 1 of 1 myself. cant wait to see more build series, Starting the (supermoto series tomorrow)
Man this thing came out so good, found the build today and I’ve watched up to now so far! I love the cafe racer inspired look and colour scheme. Makes me want to build one so bad
i member when i used to ride my moped that was 90cc stock modded with a dirtbike's 120cc cylinder and piston. it was a yamaha mini axis in the dominican republic. Had it doing 120mph. was awesome. Do what you love!
That scooter make them panties drop. Glad you had fun with it man, I started a GY6 build around the same time you did, and enjoyed comparing what you did with what I'm doing. My total cost including the purchase of the scooter is under a grand, but I think mine will turn just as many heads.
8 grand?! That's a steal 😂 Love the vids Brent, please keep doing the daily uploads coming because you literally releave all the stresses that my school day brings so thank you for that, you're my TH-cam hero haha
Mate, what an awesome series. You've built a thing of wonder. Thanks for taking the time and effort you have put into this awesome build series. Can't wait to see your next project.
I love that people dont get why you would buy a Ruckus and why you would dump that much money into something when you could buy something else. You can always buy something else. But when you have a certain style and look your going for it doesnt matter what it costs. Sure you could have bought a bigger bike and blah blah blah but in the end for 8k you have something that is YOU from top to bottom. Something your proud you have built. Customizing and building something is not about the money or how much your going to be able to get out of it in the end. Its about having something that YOU built with YOUR own hands. The memories that you and Fry Riding will always have building these bikes and also the new people you meet along the way. Its about the journey. Not the money.
I've been waiting for a series like this and I'm glad someone did it to perfection. Thank you for this well put together build and even more so showing how many thing can go wrong. Definitely going to subscribe for life. Also to any comments about price that's just silly it's a fun experience aka life it's priceless to have such an experience. It's not about speed it's not about "cc" it's all for the love of bike. :)
Ill be the first to say congrats on this vid Moto. This bike turned out amazing and for the first "scooter" build, I don't think it could have gone any better. (Besides those brakes lol)
love my ruckus and dont regret what ive dumped into it... the amount IS ridiculous for a scooter.. but that's the price to pay for a unique fully custom one of a kind vehicle! I WILL make a video of it one day!
That's a good price for that scooter. Especially if your a bike owner and have a few. For a fun toy to be used every once in a while, and you built it. Also a good conversation piece and looks good in the garage with the other bikes
Thanks for a very enjoyable and educational build. Can't wait for the next one. interested in seeing how the change in weights is going to change the performance. Have a great day.
Im totally jelly, you have all the toys..jeep, streetbikes, ruckus, huge garage, hell ur tv in the garage is bigger than any tv i have. I had a great setup but the housing market killed my construction business in Fl. I used to have a vmax 04 jeep, a 50cc jessie james fat tire chopper, honda elite and some stand up jet ski's. All gone.. is now cripple in a trailer. Wanting to ride something again, and liking the ruckus I ran across your vids. They were good enuff to keep me watching them. Anyways dont worry about what people say, you can sink ur money into whatever makes u happy. If you ever donate ur toys I want any of them :)
I don't understand all this hate 😂 the Ruckus isn't my cup of tea but clearly you like it and I've enjoyed the videos you've made with it, plus it's not my money 😂
You have inspired me.. I am going to mod my scooter when I have the time and money for it. Its a honda metro with a little 50cc engine, what I want to do it extend the seat and chassis back about 1.5 feet or a meter then for the engine use the ruck shop gy6 150 cc to power it, put a larger gas tank, larger trunk, put a fatty wheel in the back to put all that torque on the ground. I'm a little torn I have seen such tiny turbos that I originally thought of putting on on the scooter.. however I think it would just be safer to do the big bore kit for the TRS 150cc instead less chance of a boom under my arse. Then for a later project would be to build a sidecar for the thing.
I think a lot of people here are missing the point that he built the ruckus for fun and to have something unique that he could enjoy. Anyone can go build a fast bike for cheap but it's been done a million times. He already has an R1. It's his build not yours.
lol people are so salty about the build price but come on that's how much this build should cost not what he paid the shops that helped with the build probably hooked him up with crazy low prices if they even charged him this build was awesome to watch and it looks like a cool lil thing to ride keep up the great videos
love the way the ruckus turned out great job !!!!! I'm working on tuning mine as i type this, I'm still rocking the get motor just trying to get it as fast as possible. so when is the first group ride gonna be i know there has to be more ruckuses in the area, anyway if you do a group ride don't forget to let us little 49cc guys catch up once in awhile.
I would love to see you build a Cafe Racer I haven't seen many of your videos but I enjoy how you do your work and customize some bikes we don't expect thats why I think watching a Cafe Racer build by you would be great
I was looking over your engine mods and you missed a mod that will give you more speed which is the final drive gearing that goes in the gearbox and changes the ratio hope that can help you get more speed I'm actually doing a similar build but it's not a ruck it's a chuckus on air suspension ur build is sick and gives me some new ideas thanks 🙏
hey Motonosity! first off amazing build. Love custom scoots. just wanted to ask what do you do for a living? You get to daily vlog, pour thousands into bikes and your customs. How do you afford it? awesome job though!
This thing is beaaautiful😍 I have a 2017 all black Ruckus, and I know nothing about bikes... what’s a good starting point for me to start customizing mine?
For those guys stationed at Osan AB looking to do this... They are known here as the Zoomer, they run from $600-$1,200, and careful of the clones. Currently there are 3 tricked out Zoomers on base (mine with the GY6), so if you have any questions or need any help come over to the Auto Hobby Shop. 5 questions = 1 cafe mocha from starbucks!! :)
2:18 is it just me or does the back tire look like it's at an angle compared to the rest of the scooter? if your wear strip is off center, you might have an issue there or it could just be my eyes.
holy shit!!! 8,000$ ! more then I expected.... it's really nice build just pricy. you can get slightly used 2014 bmw s1000r with 10,000 miles on it here in Seattle for 9,000$, just to compare....
guys it 8k since he got the best of the best. he makes youtube money and we get to enjoy the build. you could get a similar look for ways cheaper just the parts won't be as nice
Looks good, but I just don't understand 8 k for a ruckus style scooter. Once The price of mods is more then the price of the vehicle it just feels silly to me. That being said, I'm glad you're happy with it and it did turn out very well.
Any info on the stock GY6 top speed? I'm considering buying a ruckus specifically to do a gy6 swap, but I'm very new and will start with just the full swap and aesthetic mods until I learn more and get more confidence to dig into the minutia. As long as it can do 50-55mph that should be good enough for me. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, and the Ruck looks pretty great! Ride Safe. Shoes and wheels, baby! This has turned out to be just as good if not better than the CRF build series. Loved every minute.
Thanks a lot bro!
i loved every minute.. too bad fry wasnt there at the end.
people don't understand man... when it's yours and the only one; that's what counts. no matter the cost, you love it and it's what makes you happy. guys, you'd spend money on what makes you smile. hp or not. fast or not...
People get very upset about other people being happy. It's weird.
Motonosity well bro, I'm happy as balls for you! have fun dude.
Motonosity btw I love it and would totally do the same if I had the cheddar lol. Maybe candy apple red, bronze wheels, and some other flare lol. night man.
Sounds like a nice color scheme bro! Hope you're able to make that happen some day :)
Motonosity man..., a pair of jwspeaker headlights would make this thang look so sick! Plus it would be a hell of a lot better than what we saw the other night lol
You put an incredible amount of time/labor/money into this and it shows. Great job man!
Someone will be digging this thing out of a barn in 60 years and they're going to have the biggest grin on their face.
Dang, that's a lot of thinking and a solid build. Awesome color design and great performance. Well done, Motonosity!
+Motonosity The audio mixdown on this is great man. Music lightly in the background, voice prominent but not overbearing, and then the ambient outside noises like the birds chirping. should be getting my Ruckus this weekend
cant wait to build
cant wait to smile
I was ready for it to be done, but now I'm sad that it's over. Great build series!

rustyrides600 says who you
He’s lucky
That is one insane looking bike! You picked a great location to film this awesome machine too. Loving it all the way.
Sick build...Watched it go from stock to unrecognizable !!!!
When you first stretched the tire I was thinking it looked kinda wierd but ever since you put it on the ruckus, man its been looking sexy
Watched every video from day one, i am just happy to see it all put together finally after so many weeks lol. I like your builds so far. Keep it up Motonosity.
Spending 8k isn't anything if you do what you love. Very cool bike! The tires are making it even sexier

Motonosity just made a monstrosity...all i can think of man..
There are a ton of custom ruckus build out there; however, this one is probably the cleanest and most tasteful.
list of mods:
-everything except the main frame
I never liked scooters before but this is something different it has that classic look but in a new suit. Awesome build!
That scooter make them panties drop. Glad you had fun with it man, I started a GY6 build around the same time you did, and enjoyed comparing what you did with what I'm doing. My total cost including the purchase of the scooter is under a grand, but I think mine will turn just as many heads.
My better half doesn’t want me to get a Ruckus, but videos like this make it tempting 😅
8 grand?! That's a steal 😂 Love the vids Brent, please keep doing the daily uploads coming because you literally releave all the stresses that my school day brings so thank you for that, you're my TH-cam hero haha
Glad I could brighten your day :)
Motonosity me too haha
Honestly when I saw it was only 8k I was kinda shocked. That's pretty damn cheap for all the kit that got put on that bike. One sweet ride!
The Ruckus is dope. I enjoyed the videos. Great work. I wish I had something like this. So unique and so cool. Totally worth the money!
+Nicholas Lewis definitely bro!
Loved this build series! The Ruckus is amazing! I can think of many times I would leave the cruiser in the garage and take the Ruckus.
Mate, what an awesome series. You've built a thing of wonder. Thanks for taking the time and effort you have put into this awesome build series.
Can't wait to see your next project.

Dude sick build so stoked to see it finished! Been following since the day you chose it over the grom lmao

End result looks slick as hell! Crushed the video b-roll on this too, keep up the great work brotha.
Thanks dude!
Big variation in the comments. People either love it or hate it. I happen to love it.
love my ruckus and dont regret what ive dumped into it... the amount IS ridiculous for a scooter.. but that's the price to pay for a unique fully custom one of a kind vehicle! I WILL make a video of it one day!

1:05 very clean! That's satisfying to watch!

You have a ton of street bikes now, how about a Scrambler for the next Build Series? Have a little dirt in your life!
Nice job, keep on the good work!
Found a lot of inspiration for my build in yours, bro! Nice!
You rock. You are my new TH-cam hero.
Not going to lie I'm slightly sad that the ruckus build series is pretty much over ... looking forward to the next one!
This build series was surprisingly complicated. Seemed more challenging than the supermoto build.
Awesome build man, looks sweet! Must be tons of fun to ride!
Best ruckus I've ever seen👌
I don't understand all this hate 😂 the Ruckus isn't my cup of tea but clearly you like it and I've enjoyed the videos you've made with it, plus it's not my money 😂

been following this build since the get go. wicked sweet scooter!!

It's his build not yours.
PS I loved every minute of the build video man keep up the good work and awesome videos.
I love it! don't mind the haters man. if you love it. then that's what counts! not to mention you got one epic looking one of a kind ruckus
I honestly thought it was going to be more than that. It really is a beautiful bike though. Great job with it man
lol people are so salty about the build price but come on that's how much this build should cost not what he paid the shops that helped with the build probably hooked him up with crazy low prices if they even charged him this build was awesome to watch and it looks like a cool lil thing to ride keep up the great videos
+Silverado Mike flag you enjoyed it bro!
love the way the ruckus turned out great job !!!!!
I'm working on tuning mine as i type this, I'm still rocking the get motor just trying to get it as fast as possible.
so when is the first group ride gonna be i know there has to be more ruckuses in the area, anyway
if you do a group ride don't forget to let us little 49cc guys catch up once in awhile.
Yeah it looks dope with the kit you put on it!
Love your videos man, you make me want to get a ruckus very soon. Keep up the good work.
that is one clean scooter. Can't wait for the race against the grom.
Is there going to be a speedometer, or is the phone gonna do
Enjoyed watching the build.
good shit! you should attend super sunday this year motonosity!!
I also custom made a Zuma rear shock in to the bike with bigger front forks. Once I iron out the bugs I want to step up to a 232 daily driver
I would love to see you build a Cafe Racer I haven't seen many of your videos but I enjoy how you do your work and customize some bikes we don't expect thats why I think watching a Cafe Racer build by you would be great
I'm in love with this bike, what a build lol
Your ruckus was so clean men good job👌👌
Once you become more famous with more builds under your belt, you'll be able to sell these for a profit 8-)
ice got an arrow 150 with a 150cc gy6 this parts list is helpfull.. couple weeks and I'll start the mini atom build.
Love the bike, although when I first saw it, the paint scheme immediately reminded me of the old AMTRAK logo.
that's a wicked looking ruckus!
This scooter is my dream. I will buy it in future!
hey Motonosity! first off amazing build.
Motonosity you should get airbags for it so you can REALLY lower it
For those guys stationed at Osan AB looking to do this...
as long as you like it you could buy whatever you want. it's your money you could use it on whatever you like and want.
You should bring that thing to Daytona Bike Week. There were a gang of badass Rucks last year.
I'd like to!
it is really cool but 8k ... well its one of a kind and you seem to love it so hey why not
2:18 is it just me or does the back tire look like it's at an angle compared to the rest of the scooter? if your wear strip is off center, you might have an issue there or it could just be my eyes.
holy shit!!! 8,000$ ! more then I expected.... it's really nice build just pricy. you can get slightly used 2014 bmw s1000r with 10,000 miles on it here in Seattle for 9,000$, just to compare....
guys it 8k since he got the best of the best. he makes youtube money and we get to enjoy the build. you could get a similar look for ways cheaper just the parts won't be as nice
looks ugly for a scooter that can't even keep up with highway traffic
I'm really not a fan of the stretched wheel but the rest is bomb.
looks like that was taken at the old bar near Cypress springs park.
Loved the whole build man, I think you did an amazing job with the overall concept and design. I can't wait till I can see it in person dude!
Great job! I think it looks awesome.
I have been subscribed to you for as long as I can remember; and you make me want to get motorcycle.... especially this Honda Ruckus 😏
Looks good, but I just don't understand 8 k for a ruckus style scooter. Once The price of mods is more then the price of the vehicle it just feels silly to me. That being said, I'm glad you're happy with it and it did turn out very well.
im excited for the next one :D
I love the seat it really goes with the bike
Any info on the stock GY6 top speed?
I'm considering buying a ruckus specifically to do a gy6 swap, but I'm very new and will start with just the full swap and aesthetic mods until I learn more and get more confidence to dig into the minutia. As long as it can do 50-55mph that should be good enough for me.
Any info would be greatly appreciated.
