Fantastic work! I used to work in a sewing factory where we made t-shirts and sweatshirts. We only used the serger. I'm not sure why you had to use a regular sewing machine as well. I'm not criticising you. I am just trying to save you some time.
Thats a tough question, in theory it would work because in the end the effect is created by the dust of the pumice stone and the scratches made into the fabric, but I think with sweat fabric you would have to be way more gentle when scrubbing
