Husband and wife team and co-creators of Imago Relationship Therapy, Drs. Harville Hendrix and Helen LaKelly Hunt, tackle the complex question of how couples can deal with and heal from old childhood wounds that may be affecting their marriage. Couples will learn how to dive deep into their subconscious pain signals and bring them into the light. By doing so, couples can begin to build a healthy marriage relationship by understanding what triggers old pain in their spouse and how to communicate in a way that preserves a safe space. Harville Hendrix has been an inspiration and role model for my own marriage. He is a world leader in helping others to have healthy relationships. I feel honored to be a part of the Imago organization that Harville so brilliantly developed. Harville is indeed amazing!Helen LeKelly Hunt has been a tremendous influence on me. I appreciate her openness in sharing about her own life and how she has managed to work out her differences in her own marriage. She is a role model and continues to inspire others. She has certainly changed my life and the way my marriage has evolved. Helen is amazing!

I love the part of conscious partnership where emotions are recorded along with experience in hippocampus and so it triggers your response.

27:25 the 'incompatible' partner that can help us growing.
The road of old emotional wounds will always be there... But neuroplasticity allows to build a new highway for safe relationships,
Every frustration is a wish in disguise, so instead of blaming, ask = moving from conflict to resolution and co-creation. I believe that requires a real commitment.

Leonardo Gomez-Garcia: Yes studiously loving. Altho that’s not really what you meant, is it? No of course not! You see true love because you’re a lovely person, is that it?

What's missing here to discuss is the correlation between the divorce (rate) and the state of the world : social, economics, enviromental, etc. WE ARE "NATURE'S" CREATION AND WE MUST NOT DISRESPECT, IGNORE OR UNDERESTIMATE THIS FACT.
