Omg I kept waiting for that flight attendant to shut the heck up so I could listen to the glorious sounds coming from the engine startups.

Noticed all the chimney smoke was blowing east to west, yet everyone was landing and taking off on the westerly's? Odd!

Not really odd. It happens almost every day along the west coast shoreline.

woah didnt know they went to 753 for DEN; i remember it was 752 20yrs ago :D does anyone know why it makes the high pitched hum the whole flight? presuming PTU/hydraulics?

@@SYDAirlineEnthusiast they are running 772 from SAN - IAD right now to try and dominate Alaska Air’s new entrance to the market on that route resulting in a 70% capacity increase from their prior 737 equipment

@@767kevin but that will cost more money in terms of fuel though. If it was a 787, then, money could be saved as less fuel is needed for a 787 to fly the distance a 777 would. A 787 would be more profitable than a 737 for this as less fuel is needed and more passengers can fit.

Believe that high pitched sound starting at the beginning of this is the hydraulics
