- US Highway 80, beginning at Flowood Drive between the cities of Flowood and Pearl, Mississippi. US-80 is the dividing line between the two cities with Flowood to the north. We travel west on US-80 into the city of Jackson, crossing a series of bridges, built in 1938, that cross a rail line, old US-49 and the Pearl River. US-80 through Jackson has many old roadside motels, many of which are still operating. This is a throwback to a time when US-80 was a primary east-west coast to coast route. A large portion of this video covers a concurrency of US-80 and Mississippi Highway 18. We conclude at the Jackson/Clinton city limits.

Strap down in Jacktown. I had to learn how to drive an 18 wheeler on this section of highway 80.
I like that 1st song
I have watched zillions of your ride videos. It's interesting that you were in my area here.
In our more recent videos, we passed almost right through there while traveling US-49 also.
US 80 seems to still get a good amount of traffic. I been on US 80 eastern end in Georgia before.
That’s a cool motor home in the beginning of the video! I believe the only major city I’ve been to in Mississippi was through Hattiesburg. Nice drive!
Very cool!
I've never been on this stretch of road
Unless it's your specific destination, there's not much reason to. Remember, we're Highway 90 people!
kinda cool I live on scr 504 in smith county,ms and I live about 15 min from hwy 80
Besides other ones like Meridian and Gulfport.
RangeRover Roads well, Jackson is the only one you have left then.
