I love watching you learn what real SW is like. I had just graduated from HS in 1977 when episode IV The New Hope was released. We gave it a standing ovation as an audience. Watching what Disney has done to SW hurts me more than I could explain on this platform.
I love the fight between Dooku and Yoda so much. Also, the 3 beasties sent in to kill Obi-Wan, Anakin and Padmé are a reek (the rhino-looking one), an aklay (the one that looks like a praying mantis) and a nexu (the tiger-looking one). Fun fact: Samuel L. Jackson asked director/franchise creator George Lucas if his character could have a purple lightsaber, so he could find himself easily during the Battle of Geonosis in the sea of blue and green lightsabers....and because it's his favorite color. (Mine too, honestly)
I love the part where Count Dooku tells a captured Obi Wan the truth about Darth Sidious controlling the Senate. Count Dooku realized Obi Wan would think he was lying no matter what, so he told him the real truth knowing he would not believe it.
When Padme and Ani went to Naboo, these colorful scenes of a square and surroundings, were filmed in Plaza de España in Seville, Spain. Also, the lake scenes are from Italy.
More was filmed in Seville, Spain -deleted scenes at Padme's family house. Beside Lake Como, and pastures up near mountains - the Palace, where they confer with the new Queen, is the same as in Phantom Menace, which is also in Italy. Tunisia, of course. The studios were in Australia, and some of the bug-planet, desert and rocks are likely flown over, or sampled and assembled from interior Australian landscape. I read that the vibrant sunset, at the end, when the Clone Wars "begin" was a sunset over Japan, taken by a visiting Lucasfilm employ on Sept'11,2001.
Jango Fett is a Mandalorian and they have a long adversarial history with the Jedi that expands thousands of years. So when Jango said he was always happy to meet a Jedi to Obi-Wan, he certainly wasn't being friendly. The Jedi during this time are so arrogant. Perfect example is the Jedi librarian saying that if a planet doesn't show up in their archives, then it simply must not exist. That uppity way she said it just rubs me the wrong way. Anakin is the perfect example on why he was too old to be trained as a Jedi. They generally start off as toddlers. One thing Jedi are not permitted to have is attachments and he already developed an attachment with his mother. We see where that has lead when his mother was captured and he tried to save her. And now he has a romantic attachment with Padme...
According to George Lucas, Jango Fett is not a Mandalorian. He was retconned to be one by Disney, either way he is not a Mandalorian or associated with them in this movie. Obi Wan of course doesn't know that. The dialogue has a lot of layers.
💜🌹 Emma, great reaction as always! Small detail : When Obi-Wan was falling from a great height ( 7:30 ) and Anakin was hovering his car below him, Obi-Wan was using energy to slow and direct his fall! The spell of the Jedi Master! 😎

Count Dooku had the chance to cut any limb of Obi Wan but he "only" hurted him. That´s because Obi Wan was Qui Gon Jinn´s apprentice; like Qui Gonn was his own apprentice once. Dooku, although he turned to the dark side, loved a lot Qui Gonn and, thinking about him, he didn´t want to hurt more than necessary at Qui Gonn´s apprentice. And only attacked him again to provoke the Anakin jump to block him (anticipation).
Not sure about that. Dooku just hits some important area for a fighter, the main arm and Obi can't use his lightsaber anymore, and one leg, he can't really move anymore either. He is defeated. Then we can think that Dooku wanted to kill Obi-Wan. I have serious doubts that Dooku could have thought that Anakin was going to intervene. Besides, we can see from his face that he is surprised to see Ani counter his attack, and not at all that he had anticipated this action contrary to what you claim. I think he didn't care that Obi-Wan was the apprentice of his former apprentice. Dooku just wanted to run away, not risk another fight, against a fighter he knew nothing about. Besides, the Anakin VS Dooku fight is not incredible, unlike the novel, but Anakin gives Dooku a hard time. So, provoking him to force him to intervene and then risking a fight was stupid, the complete opposite of what Dooku is, a fine strategist and someone intelligent and smart. He is also very annoyed that this setback (the fight against Anakin) forces him to face Yoda!
You ever think about the Lars, Owen, Berus perspective in this movie? Anakin and padme show up looking for Shmi skywalker, lars tells them she was taken by sandpeople. Anakin goes into the desert for a day, comes back with her body which he buries on their land. Then Anakin and padme steal their protocol droid (C3-PO) and just leave.
38:21 the Jedi downfall in a nutshell. Dooku tells him in detail, to his face, the truth of the situation and Obi-wan (and the Jedi overall) refuse to believe it. Forget being able to sense it.
I loved your reaction to this, Emma, I'm so glad that you're enjoying it so much. I look forward to seeing your reaction to the next episode of this, "Star Wars: Revenge of The Sith". 🙂
On the Planet Kamino, the long neck alien was played by New Zealand Actress Rena Owen, and the clones were played by Temuera Morrison. Both Actors were in an Indie NZ Film called "Once Were Warriors". Probably the most Violent depiction of Domestic Abuse, Maori Culture, and Toxic Masculinity. Its a very good movie worth watching at least once. They havent been in a major movie since then.
Another nice reaction. I can say without spoilers that the next film will blow you away. This one was just OK to me but important to the story. The Clone Wars was series was such a great show but this movie gave just a taste of what was to come. You might like to watch that too some time.
Really one of the best scores ever, the music captures the feel of each scene so well. Say you what you want about the prequels but no one can hate the score.
The sound of Jango Fett's seismic charges is quite literally my favourite sound in the whole world, followed very closely by Sebulba's pod racer engine.
A side from the whole bit that there is no sound in space, which is a thing. . But yeah, the sound of plucking a low piano string, worked in this. And I like that there was a delay after the visual was even cooler. But still, the whole sound in space thing,.... I love the effect, but I have to still take a hard, well, you know Physics.
Always remember: Padme married a man who killed men, WOMEN and EVEN CHILDREN. To feel hate is just human ....... EDIT: And the best outfit and place to tell the boy you know is in love with you and you don´t want to be with is a black skin-tight leather outfit by a romantic fireplace 😀
I have never seen anyone react to The Competition, which is about an international piano competition. Also, Fiddler on the Roof 1973 would be good. it's an adapted musical play in which John Williams had to create 7 minutes of music for the opening credits, and received an Oscar for adapted score.
Hello Emma, I like your Reaction Videos. I heard a Story from the Production of Episode Two. Natalie Portman had some Problems with one of her Costumes. It was really, really thight and almost knocked her out. I don´t know if this happend, but it´s a funny Story. If you curious for more Natalie Portman Movies, here one Suggestion : V for Vendetta. A great Movie and Natalie had a hard Time while filming. Greetings and have a wonderful Time. 😊😊😊
The relationship between Anakin and Padme has more sense with the deleted scenes from the original footage. If you can take a look at these deleted scenes, you will like it even more. It´s a great chemistry.
The bounty hunter's clone (kid) is the same bounty hunter that brings Han Solo to Jabba in episodes 5 & 6, he have a similar armor & the sane spaceship as his dad. Anakin's step brother & his girlfriend are Luke's aunt & uncle in episode 4.
The Syth Lord Darth Sydious is also known as the Supreme Chanslour Palpoten (aka Darth Vader's Master).. I knew exactly who he was the first time I heard him speak in episode one.
It's coarse and rough and irritating and it gets everywhere. Not like here. Here everything is soft and smooth. Best writing ever LOL. Great reaction emma big thumbs up
Not sure if you have seen The Lord of the Rings or not but Count Dooku is played by late Sir Christopher Lee, who played Saruman in The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit triogies and also been the title character in the James Bond movie The Man with the Golden Gun and played Dracula and Frankenstein's Monster in the Hammer Horror Movies (played against his friend Peter Cushing, who played Moff Tarkin in Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope, who was Van Helsing in Hammer's Dracula).
The only thing about Star Wars that's sorta dumb is when they're in asteroid belts, and they have to start dodging rocks everywhere. Do you realize how vast the space within an asteroid belt is? You'd never actually encounter an asteroid if you were in one of these regions. Each rock is millions of miles apart from the other!
38:35 all what count says was true, he wasnt Sith- he leave order due to corruption* and ideology*/ no reforms* problems etc (even hes eyes was normal)
At some point during your Star Wars adventure, when you grow curious about R2D2 and C3PO and the inspiration behind those two characters, also check out the 1958 Akira Kurosawa film The Hidden Fortress.

You mentioned that Obi-Wan was not the best teacher for Anakin. This is absolutely true. Go back to the big duel between Darth Maul, Obi-Wan, and Qui-Gon Jinn in Episode 1; the music under their battle is called "Duel of the Fates." Anakin's future would have been very different had Qui-Gon won and defeated Maul. In Qui-Gon, Anakin would have had a fatherly figure as his Master. Obi-Wan is an excellent Master, but not the right one for Anakin. Their dynamic was more of an older brother instructing a younger brother. Anakin needed a stronger presence, a father figure, to guide his path as a Jedi. The timeline is about 10 years between Episode 1 and Episode 2, and the time between Episodes 2 and 3 is only 2 years or so. The story told of the the time between this film and the next is in Star Wars: The Clone Wars animated series. One of the best aspects of the series is a character that is one of my favorites in Star Wars, Anakin's apprentice, the Togruta padawan Ahsoka Tano. Ahsoka is so popular in animated form in The Clone Wars and Star Wars: Rebels (which take place in the last years before and during the Original Trilogy) that she has her own live-action series, Star Wars: Ahsoka, which takes place after Return of the Jedi.

I think u would really enjoy star wars the clone wars animated series, there was one a short one done in 2003 but the 2008 went on for 7 seasons. Gives more back story's on what happened through the clone wars. Also if u havnt seen the swtor trailers/Star Wars: The Old Republic Online game trailers u will enjoy them too I bet. The stuff in the game takes places many years before what happens in the movies, the trailers are just so amazing, so much attacking in them. Like they are mini movies. There's another reason that Sam Jackson wanted a purple lightsaber but he keeps that a secret, so we can only speculate why.
I love the part where Count Dooku tells a captured Obi Wan the truth about Darth Sidious controlling the Senate. Count Dooku realized Obi Wan would think he was lying no matter what, so he told him the real truth knowing he would not believe it.

Catching the speeder while falling would be possible, that being said what made you say it's impossible is an error in editing. As the speeder should go down a little slower than Obi-Wan, the scenary should change too accordingly, which is doesn't on that particular shot ! That always bugged me. The overall concept is "relative speed" between the two objects being kept to a minimum, that requires a lot of available height to do it of course... Given how Obi Wan spreads his arms and legs, in a Earth like atmosphere, a human being falling in that position doesn't go more than 200 kph.
11:45 Listen carefully to that little trumpet theme... it does ring a bell, doesn't it?
Contrary to Saturn, Geonosis has a rock surface, it's more like a hospitable Venus with a ring of debris around it, probably a small Moon that reached the Roche limit and disintegrated due to gravity tidal forces by being too close to the planet.
Yes, I'd have add Anakin Force grab Padmé gently down to the animal instead of letting her fall and probably tear apart her basin and compress her spine... Have you already accidentally got off a pavement without using the foot's articulation (but directly flat)? Your spine feels it badly, let me tell you...

Clones, despite their genetic tempering, are still human beings, more odedient, conditionned and highly trained in combat, cloned from a Mandalorian warrior (the best human template possible for such a task). So they control themselves as highly elite soldiers would, minus their specially high obedience to orders.
R2D2 and C3PO will always be superior to Jar Jar in terms of comedic relief.

It's a great story, but not done well. I never really bought the love story. Anakin behaves strange and Padme being older should never fall in love with him.
