I've noticed, over the years, that a person's ministry generally involves something they could never do themselves.
We are all given spiritual gifts that are used for the congregation while our ministry is being prepared.
Our ministry may or may not use our spiritual gift but that gift will most likely be a secondary part of our ministry.
Personally, I am a gifted musician. However, my ministry is not in the music industry. It is at the pulpit and visiting the sick...which is something I can't do with my human expertise. I have to rely on the Holy Spirit for my ministry. I use music as a suppliment to my ministry though.

This podcast, as in any Bible study, is a supplement to what we ourselves read. So what I do is write down the verses and go back and study them myself. That way I can listen to what they say, and can build on that with what God reveals to me as I study.

It sounds like the King James Version I grew up with to me. These days I read the Douay-Rheims version from which the King James was taken. It's a more accurate translation from the original manuscripts and still contains the 7 books that were removed from the Douay-Rheims by Martin Luther and the Protestant Reformation .

Guys, you did an entire podcast on JD Vance but you still didn't answer my question. The Bible says do not yoke yourself with an unbeliever. Do you have any thoughts at all on JD Vance being the pick for VP when his wife, Usha, is of Hindu religion and does not believe in Jesus Christ? She's an extremely sharp and eloquent speaker. And a likeable person. But that's not the point. I thought Trump was going to try to place men of God in the white house. That's a woman good or bad, that simply does not believe in Christ. And that is her choice to choose who she wants to worship. It's a free country. But as for me and my house, we will serve The Lord. Could you kindly address this specific issue? I realize its a sensitive topic, but as Men Of Christ, I believe you could discuss it in a way that would not embarrass Mr Vance or his wife.. And this is from a person who is trying to support Trump. I believed in Jesus since I was 4 years old. And I have always voted for the man whose heart was closest to Christ, or who at least accomplished the goals to help people who believe in Christ, which is clearly Trump over any Democratic candidate. And I actually like JD Vance as well after hearing him speak. This issue still bothers me though, about his wife not being a Christian and not believing in Jesus Christ.
