Hi everybody, here is my new really cool and easy jazz blues in the key of Bb. The whole tune is in a slow tempo, no fast runs etc. but with a lot of cool blues licks. In the part 2 of the video you see me playing each chorus separately. That's also the best way for practicing the whole tune. Please note: if I call a lesson or solo easy it means you can play guitar already. It doesn't mean that you start with guitar playing, okay? Now grab your guitar and play the blues . . . All the best from Germany
Didn't know that I've been searching for this sound all my life. My father built his mono, tube, hi fi before I was conceived, and I was hearing this sound in the womb. First notes on this video I heard, I knew, thank you so much!
A nice easy/intermediate piece to master... yet although there are no fast-picking sections, the real challenge is to match the bluesy 'feel' Achim brings to his arrangement. Slow Down makes a perfect piece for honing your jazz chops!!! 👏
@@AchimKohl-JazzGuitar You bought a Duesenberg a while back. It was quite bright in tone. I noticed that you didn't play it much. I personally prefer the sound of this Collings. Nice that you can afford it! In North America it is priced at around $7000, but as a professional you need good gear. Hard to believe perhaps but I get a great jazz tone out of a telecaster! Tschuss!
