    I had tennis elbow for nearly a year, so I decided to try acupunture. The doctor said it will take 10 sessions to cure the pain. It only took the doctor 9 sessions to completly cure the symtoms almost completely (it was completely gone after more resting period). Since then the the pain has never revisited me.

    Its all connected without a doubt. I put menthol cream on my stomach and felt it in my back. I have pinched nerve in my neck and it radiates up into my jaw and causes spasms in my jaw muscle. And the list goes on..

    Hi Doc does it help PCOS?

    • @empyreanbeing
      @empyreanbeing 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Likely not as effectively as compared to neurological conditions (like migraine), since PCOS is primarily a hormone disorder. But acupuncture can likely help support other PCOS treatment by minimizing the effects of stress on the endocrine system, minimizing autonomic nervous system imbalance and dis-regulation that might contribute to exacerbated PCOS.

    Not sure why people still do not understand that chi is directly related to your blood. Blood is what is causing most of the issues as it becomes stagnant. Also please stop saying "more research needs to be done." This has been used for thousands of years. It absolutely works. But you're right about people understanding their body before starting.

    Will treatments eventually eliminate migraines or is it just temporary relief?
    I've had a few sessions for migraines however I still get them.

    • @cristianmurar3185
      @cristianmurar3185 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      The migraines are caused by something going on in your body. To get rid of the migraine you need to find the underlining issue and address it. A good acupuncturist might be able to help. An average one might give you some temporal relief from your migraine headaches.

      Try daily massage on Hegu point (Large Intestine 4 point) - do 5 minutes on each hand. Do it DAILY. Then when you do get a migraine, your energy system will activate right away when you use this point - and this will immediately help it.

    Good information and explanation of acupuncture treatment. One thing I would like to add as a patient, it makes a big difference the energy of the practitioner, the qi as it is called. This lady doesn’t look like she has lots of qi so she can put 20 needles and I might not feel anything. What actually happens during the treatment, the practitioner energy enters the patient body that’s why the practitioner is a important in acupuncture. Someone with low energy might not be able to provide any efficient treatment.

      I believe chiropractic and acupuncture goes hand in hand. Both holistic and both improve our health naturally

    • @americanbobtail1

      @@NancySteinVeganChef - Well acupuncture was absolutely worthless for me and tried it twice for two different conditions. First, for my left shoulder and second for my migraines which is actually visual snow with migraines. Both times it was a waste of money and time. What has been most successful has been non-standard tinted glasses ( Violet 73% not FL-41) upper cervical chiropractors, modified Keto/FODMAP diet plus supplement regimen, and now starting immunotherapy that looks like it is working well. My point is just because accupuncture works for you it does not necessarily work for others and don't try to justify a medical treatment that does not work for others.

      @@NancySteinVeganChef - I said I went for two separate health issues, not two times. In total, we are talking at least 2 months for the left shoulder and 6 months for migraines and it was utterly useless for me. Like I said originally for me, chiropractic blew accupuncture out of the water. Not sure why you are so hell-bent that accupuncture does not work for a lot of people.

    I have vestibular migraines. I had my first session done on Thursday. I honestly felt worse. My symptoms increased and I’ve had a migraine since then. Super exhausted for 3 whole days. Can it be possible that acupuncture is making me have this horrible migraines after? My acupuncture doctor wants to detox my body and was given Angelica root herb to take for a week. why not? it can treat paralysis, i know an acupuncturist, he had a patient carried into the clinic by his family member, after the session the patient was already walking although still wobbly and unstable and was able to walk slowly out of the clinic. It still it is much better than being paralyzed. the patient had stroke and paralyzed for 4 days.
