Laughter/humour is everything.Im having chemo atm and the cancer jokes in our house are probably near the knuckle for some.But they are welcome not to come round.Its our family unit and how we laugh through some otherwise dark days.

I had a go at him for not wearing safety clothing or that used a company as promised. His comment back was " well the arse cancer will get me before the asbestos will kill me" love it!! RIP 2020
It wasn't so much caving more reigning it in, he was trying to get back on the BBC so he could get paid. There were stories that every episode of mock the week he was on was the most complained show on the BBC that week, it's hard to promote the tour or whatever you are selling if you are banned from "Live at the Apollo". Frankie's tv act has calmed down but it's still full bore live, I think he's taken the approach of "if you've bought a ticket you know what you're getting into", I think he's just become a lot more conscious of what jokes he tells where.
Frankie got really famous being the “edgy” one on a BBC satire show. Going to see his standup is brilliant, because the “too hot for TV” jokes are the early warmup gags and it gets darker from there. The audience is always about 25% made up of people realising they’ve made a terrible mistake in thinking they were going to see Mock The Week live… 😂

I've always thought that there's a thin line between comedy and bullying which tends to be whether or not you're punching up or punching down. I'd say nearly 90% of Frankie's material past and present he is punching up, targeting people and groups that have some level of power or privilege and even those where you could consider him punching down its more as a side-effect of targeting someone else (his jokes about Jordan's son for instance was more to highlight how he thought it was outrageous that she kept him in such close proximity to her highly sexualised public image).

He didn’t really conceive to the people, he was essentially cancelled he was a regular on tv comedy panel shows and was even a team captain on mock the week for 4 years, but was let go in 2009 because as you know things have and are changing on people views and people are way too thin skinned these day to be able to enjoy his comedy, he tried tv a few times after but it didn’t really work out for him, because of his blue surreal comedy he now only really tours Scotland and does internet shows (bbc iPlayer), I think if he was to tour the uk again it would have to be in small comedy clubs that only pay between £80-£200 a night and he’s way too big for that, if he stays in Scotland he can sell out arenas and know that people will still enjoy his comedy, hope I’ve been able to help you a little
to be fair he wasn't gonna get hired for any big gigs if he kept up this reputation given how fragile people are now, but also he said that he wanted to change cause he needed to get darker and darker for his audience because thats what people expected and he felt it wasnt even comedy anymore, just saying dark shit that anyone can do

The only difference between Frankie toning down his material on mtw and Frankie toning down his material for his Autopsy specials is that on the Autopsy specials, he made his politics far more blatant. Most stand-up comedians tone down their more outrageous stuff for TV, and most comedians aren't as outrageous as Frankie. If you want the outrageous stuff, that's what the live shows are for. They haven't changed in the slightest.
The problem now in the UK is the complain culture. So often, a show will air with a very concise warning regarding the content beforehand. Yet these twats will watch the show and then make a complaint regarding it! I like gritty comedy and drama, but if you don't like the look of it, don't watch, it's very simple.

He didn’t really conceive to the people, he was essentially cancelled he was a regular on tv comedy panel shows and was even a team captain on mock the week for 4 years, but was let go in 2009 because as you know things have and are changing on people views and people are way too thin skinned these day to be able to enjoy his comedy, he tried tv a few times after but it didn’t really work out for him, because of his blue surreal comedy he now only really tours Scotland and does internet shows (bbc iPlayer), I think if he was to tour the uk again it would have to be in small comedy clubs that only pay between £80-£200 a night and he’s way too big for that, if he stays in Scotland he can sell out arenas and know that people will still enjoy his comedy, hope I’ve been able to help you a little

The only difference between Frankie toning down his material on mtw and Frankie toning down his material for his Autopsy specials is that on the Autopsy specials, he made his politics far more blatant.
Most stand-up comedians tone down their more outrageous stuff for TV, and most comedians aren't as outrageous as Frankie. If you want the outrageous stuff, that's what the live shows are for. They haven't changed in the slightest.

The problem now in the UK is the complain culture. So often, a show will air with a very concise warning regarding the content beforehand. Yet these twats will watch the show and then make a complaint regarding it! I like gritty comedy and drama, but if you don't like the look of it, don't watch, it's very simple.
