Just took delivery of this model from Amazon.Took one look at the instructions which are all in diagram form and immediately grabbed my phone and went to TH-cam and this video. Why do companies make things so difficult for consumers. Also why dont they include a few capsules which you can use until you can get a supply. Thanks for posting this video.👍👍
Had to giggle at this,my heart sank when I saw the so called instructions. Handed the whole thing over to my autistic child who had it sussed in minutes. Think your brain has to be wired a certain way to make sense of these and mine certainly isn't!!!
A week ago I bought this machine but couldn't get the lid shut with a T Disc in place nor with the maintenance disc either and I was being quite forceful but it wdn't shut. The Amazon rep was very helpful and a replacement was ordered and collection arranged. The replacement arrived today and the lid on it shut but it still needed a bit of force. I had bought Tassimo Kenco Cappuccino capsules and I was disappointed at how little one milk + one coffee discs produced and adding extra water just dilutes the mix. I need to consider where to go with this but tonight I decided to use TWO coffee discs and heat some milk in the microwave and use my milk frother and add it on top of the coffee. I think it odd that to make cappuccino in the machine its milk first then the coffee...the opposite of the norm. And the images of cups and mugs full to the brim with coffee is so misleading.
I just made a Kenco Cappuccino and double checked that I didn't need to apply any particular pressure . I carefully inserted the pod into the holder and closed the lid by pressing on the outer rim and closing it in a kind of scissor action. I noticed that as you say the Kenco Cappuccino pods don't produce a huge volume of liquid (must cross check with Costa pods). I know the Americano & Latte pods do give a longer drink. The Costa Pods actually specify the Milk first, Coffee second but I've never really noticed much difference if I've done it the other way round.
Hi I just brought the same one as u, when I close tge lid I end up with the water and cleaning light both flashing red at me do u know why? Thank u xxx
Cappuccinos and Lattes come with coffee and creamer pods in pairs. You can buy packs of creamers from bigger stores and also online from Amazon and others
Cappuccino & Latte Tassimos come in pairs , one milk (creamer) pod & one coffee pod. The creamer is I guess liquid condensed milk powder which you are recommended to shake is then diluted with the amount of water specified by the bar code on top of the pod. Some coffees like Americano's don't have creamers.
The Baecode Window is an arse,, I have to wipe mine with a damp sponge to get it to read. Also I cant get the Descale light to reset,, I have run the cleaning disc several times, but still no joy. Coffee still tastes fine. Just Bosch want you to panic and buy a new one. Been using mine for 2yrs with these niggles. Another thing I do,, half mug of milk 2min in microwave, then 1 milk pod, 1 coffee pod, hold fill button in to flush coffee pod till mug is full. (very big mug) Hope this helps someone. 😎👍
Not everyone can follow written instructions so this is probably to make it more accessable to all? My ME, brainfog n loss of short term memory means I'm repeatedly starting over which is frustrating and debilitating. They could easily include both although the translation would be diabolical 🤣🇬🇧🤬
biggest flaw with this model, not bloody tall enough for conventional coffee glass's, especially if it makes it to the brim, you either spill it everywhere, or have to tilt the whole machine allowing you to carefully remove the coffee glass without spilling it all, and this is whilst using it with the drip tray removed

I have those instructions I find you can only understand afterwards! And those obscure little diagrams!!

Thank you so much for this clip. I've just bought the same machine and couldn't for the life of me understand the instructions. This is a great help!
Thanks mate, the instructions in the box were terrible.
How do you make a big mug of coffee,.. how do you add more water? Thanks 👍
Thanks for sharing. Very helpful! Just made my first cup!

I know that I'm 7 month late, but you can hold the start button and the machine will pour liquid as long as you hold it :)
Can this machine make espresso and cappuccino both?
I did everything but the new machine is not working. I saw the video to do the start with cleaning
Is the drip tray at the bottom important? Because I somehow lost mine
I just had mine delivered and I can't get it to work!!!! The orange light is on but I press it and nothing happens???? HELP
Bottom red light keeps coming on.. what does this mean please
Coffee from pod come through and has stopped??
I’ve got one and learning how to use it
Does anyone know do you get more than a tiny of but of coffee
So you can't use supermarket pods
I’ve followed everything and nothing has happened. The light comes on I’ve tapped the back with my cup and nothing. Just goes off again!😢
Using for 1st time coffee came out of pod into cup then stopped plenty water in
Thanks so much you explained it great. Lisa
Brilliant thanks!
Obligé capsules Tassimo ? On peut acheter d'autres marques ? Merci
Je n'ai jamais trouvé de capsules sans marque pour Tassimo :(

Hi have you tried doing the cleaning cycle with the yellow disk? Normally it should work out of the box.
Brilliant! Thank you so much. the one at the Windermere hotel had no instructions hence me going on YT. Very good cuppa too btw!
I can’t wait use mine
Rear water loading is a real pain. I prefer the side loading water tank.
I agree also its annoying that you can't easily see the level
Hi, I am using the same machine as you, with the same pods. However, is it meant to only fill the cup up to around 40%?,
Hi I will measure what volume of coffee I get and get back to you
A Kenco Cappuccino produced a drink of 130ml or 4.4 fluid ounces (0.55 US Cup). The Lattes produce more liquids and the Americanos the most
If you hold it in after it stops pouring coffee out you get a fuller cup 😊😊 just after the coffee pod not a milk pod 🤩
You can also pull the bottom tray out of your cup is too big 🙂
@@HowToVideosAndTips thank you👍
Thanks a lot mate
Wait do i need to get milk creamers too then ?

How did u get the milk in? Was it in a pod. Seems an awful lot of milk for that tiny pod 🤔

Thanks for the video.
Get a milk frother an electric one it’s tops it up
You only get a quarter of a cup tho

When you insert the service disk do you hold the start button for 5 seconds to get it to run in descaling mode
Why is the portion so small when I use this machine am I just doin something wrong? Only got half a cup 😂
Nicely explained ... thanks !
Glad it was helpful! Your comment is appreciated
Thank you! I was having a headache just from the useless instruction manual that came with the machine 😭
Cheers big ears
Intelligent switching it on?! 😂 I'm not sure that's what Bosch call the smart start feature 🤔
I just fill it in situ as it's easier for my poor osteoarthritis fingers 🤣

oooo dirty finger nails
Adds extra flavour
