I remember meeting Deadmau5 in the smoking area of the first MineCon in Las Vegas, he was on the phone with someone who had apparntly asked him if he needed any secutiry that night for the club he was playing at, which was also for MineCon. Heard him reply "what are they gonna do, attack me with foam pickaxes?" after he went inside, nobody else seemed to know who the hell he was, but they all thought he was a dick lmao.
Youngest person at the show. 18 and still in high school. This was the best day of my life for now and Notaker was there and walk past me 6 inches away from me.
I took my 11 and 9-year-old sons to the Milwaukee show and they were so upset they couldn’t come with me to this. My 11-year-old has literally listened to Deadmau5 since he was 18 months old and saw the video for the Earl’s Court show. He said it was Mickey, I said no, it was Deadmau5, and thereby started a long time I’d have to explain to his teachers how he knew who he was. They grew up watching the 2011 Meowington Hax 2k11 video to go to bed to, and it was really awesome to finally take them to see him.
TRUTH!! Saw him live on this tour when he came thru Houston right before covid hit... Nov14th 2019. Best bloody show that I have ever seen. The pure bliss you feel with his music and the astounding lights with the new cube... I was blown away.
@@321mrhaatz you should pay attention more it's everywhere: tourism places, museum, exhibition, artists exposition, big cities etc people stay 20s, take a pic (or 5, in case they're blury) 100x worse than what you got on Google image in a second and leave the room instantly. People don't care about living the things Then the photos are lost in your phones, useless and in the end, without memories

My friend spotted him (and recognized him, I didn't recognize him at the time) when he was right next to me, and if I remember correctly he kinda just mumbled "I bought this car" and I was like, oh? And we talked about how fast it goes, the color he chose, and how they hadn't delivered it yet. I made a point to listen to his stuff some time, and I'm glad I finally am now lmao

It will be on DVD! Joel confirmed its coming and it was recorded in 8K! Trouble is the company that filmed wanted to edit it in house and charge joel thousands for it so instead he said give me the footage and i will get one of my team to edit it, so hope fully soon it will be ready

My kids turned me on to him and I haven't gone back and now have seen him over 20 times now. I guess I'm obsessed. I even flew to Red Rocks to see all three shows there. most if not all of the show is pre arranged, with a little live flair tossed in; but it's pre arranged by him, with his visuals, played on his equipment. it's almost a presentation of his musical and technical prowess.
When I went to see Chelsea Grin a few years back on their Eternal Nightmare tour (entire new album played + a bunch of oldies), I filmed for the entire hour and a bit. Idk how I managed to keep my arm up for that long, let alone keeping hold of my phone.
Was at the first show for this tour here in Dallas (first night) last year. First time seeing Joel live, took my 10 yr old son (his first concert). We had a blast, amazing set also!
The fact this was professionally filmed and wasn't released because the Film company tried to screw Joel over still pisses me off, 4 years later lol. We already barely get any pro-shot shows anymore because of cell phones, so was really looking forward to this.

It was my third time watching him live, but his performance during his tours are very different than at a music festival. In conclusion, Deadmau5 is a genius and a beautiful soul!!!!!!! Plus, you don't see too many 4K 60 cameras out there. I am sure they are out there, but you don't really see too much of them. You can also tell by the compression/noise reduction on people's heads. That is another thing these phones tend to do in low light.
The most recent crop of flagship phones are able to do this quality of video without too much issue. I took video of the Deadmau5 show in DC on my Pixel 3 XL and the quality was almost the same as this. I thought it'd be crap because of the lights and everything but it turned out really well.
Let's be real Daft punk in 2007 amazed with their alive tour stage with amazing visuals and accurate light show, and I'm pretty sure Joel got inspired by them and made cube v1 v2 2.1 and v3 can't wait to see in future new cube perhaps v4 or 3.1
