So I am struggling with stage 4 cancer. My whole life all I ever wanted was a wife and kids. A family that I could love and support and grow with. We'll here I am 50 years old and dying of cancer. Never been married or had any kids. Now that dream is gone. I would settle for a compromise. At this point. The whole covid thing ripping us apart. Divided by politics and every other thing. I don't know if anyone will read this. But if you do love them. Love everyone. Because every treatment, every drug won't do what love will. Goodnight I love you.

Cancer, I've been there my brother. I was 17 and diagnosed with the most aggressive cancer there is. I thought I'd die. Nine times since then I've had near death experiences. But it's not about me, it's about you my beautiful friend. I love you.

How does this man have the ability to make other artists songs uniquely his own as if they've never been sung by anybody else but him? This is such a rare Talent. His voice is absolutely spectacular in this song. ❤

a beautiful song , sung by the best singer/ vocalist/ performer I've ever seen and heard , was lucky enough to see him play this live 26 years ago , sounds just as good today , stunning rendition , he may not have written this one , but it's his. RIP Legend

I've been an Elton/Bernie fan since I was 12 years old, and while I adore Elton's original version, this one's my favourite. Because of course George Michael would cover it brilliantly.

I have loved George from day one, and I'm a huge EJ fan... but never knew, until today, that he sang this song with him. AND it's one of my favorite EJ's songs!

I found this CD at a thrift store about 8 or 9 years ago and it was my favorite there in my Buick Park Avenue there for a while. I ended up losing it somehow after I sold the car but have never stopped listening to the album. It was an amazing find in my eyes. If I found it again I would probably cry.

@@ebrente I hear ya, lately I rather buy albums - even though it does the same as you mentioned! I used to have over 2000 pieces of vinyl. 45's, 78's and 33's! lost them many years ago. But the thought of lugging all that now, is a no go lol!

I'm glad that this album closed with Tonight. It's a powerful song to end; either this one or Oleta's "Sun" would have worked.

just the most beautiful - honesty.....
I wore out this CD when it came out. Loved all of it.
When my heart was broken the very first time by that beautiful girl Clo, it was this song that I cried to so many times, not necessarily the lyrics, there was no fights or anything like that, it was more the music reminds me of a time, an emotion, and a place where I was so broken hearted and destroyed.
Looking back at that time, Thank’s be to God we did break-up, she was a handful and WAYYY too much head-wrecking emotion, and I eventually got my head and heart straightened out, and had some brilliant relationships after that, but I’ll still never forget that time my heart was broken.

The girlfriend I had before I met my wife...she cheated and I walked in on it...shut me down emotionally and it took almost a year of self-reflection to make me realize I needed to let it go...this song was my anchor when I would constantly re-live and question the relationship....then I met my wife at a party neither one of us wanted to be at....I'm 30 years HAPPILY married...the Universe has a way of telling us where we NEED to be....
That's a good stretch....never stay locked in the past, yes it's hard but in many cases hanging on to the past definitely can halt or prevent your future, you did well.....

This song is recorded live from 91 rock in Río show . Elton doesnt play the piano . There is a such a Big band behind George Michael . But not Elton ... There is a vídeo of this show , and this song .
