Beautiful collection of minis. I’m finding those are so much easier for me to care for then the larger ones. Just wish I could find more of a variety.
This spring or summer I found mini phals in one of my local plant shops here in France and to my huge surprise they were very fragrant ... oh my such nice scent, so I got 3 ahah sadly they were all the same colours dark burgundy, purplish, not mu favourite colour but I am such a huge fragrance freak I had to buy them :) the blooms lasted almost all summer and autumn can't wait to see them in bloom again ^^

I love the yellow mini phal, i absolutly love that kind of lip with the golen yellow and white. I have a mini thats solid pale yellow with that lip, deffintly one of my favorite in my collection.

I have a Jiaho's Pink Girl too! Also with mottled leaves, but it's bloomed it's first time in July, no fragrance the first time around. It's one of my favorite minis as well, it's just so cute!

I am a total sucker for Mini Phals too.. I found the Jaiho's Pink Girl fairly recently at my local big box store and she has a sweet scent, I love that!!
Speaking of mini phals, I finally found one of the mini orange phals with the purple lip!! The tag says Phal. Brother Girl but I'm not sure if that's accurate. It looks like the one you have! It's so pretty! And I got a Phal. Liu's Cute Angel. UGHHHH cute is right!!

I have e mini phal in my crested gecko terrarium and the flowerspike did grow into the roots of another phal, so I took a piece of wire and let her grow in a bit of a other way.

I recently ordered a sogo Vivian but mine has variegated leaves. Yellow and green leaves. It’s stunning.
The schilleriana is also a recent purchase but a seedling. It’s beautiful but I would definitely buy a more mature one if I ever find one. Love your channel! 💚

Lovely minis and a gorgeous phal! So worth the size! I’ve been doing the same thing. Trying to give away larger phals and make room for really interesting minis. White got boring! I had a beautiful fragrant mini with slightly mottled leaves that someone said looked like Doritaenopsis Sogo Bianca. Too bad the fragrance was why I had to give it away, stupid allergies!

I also love mini orchids. My one Neofinetia is a micro mini. A 2 inch pot is too large. Need a jewelers loop to see up close. My not so mini mini Phal finally spiked after 7 years. She decided to grow leaves and roots like crazy this summer. I now hope the spike matures enough to bloom. Your new Phalaenopsis are gorgeous. Cannot wait for updates. By the way sometimes I cannot view your video without interruption. I do go back a watch the whole video. I don’t know how that registers on TH-cam. Enjoy all your content the most. So pretty! We don't have flower shops in our area that carries phalaenopsis. Or any orchid actually. Haha! Such a bummer. So jealous. I always have to buy my orchids online and have them shipped so I can't buy anything that has flowers. I love phals the mini and medium phals too! ♥
I have 3 mini phals. They are the hardest for me because in the beginning they kept loosing their roots for some reason. I think they are finally past that now and they all have flower spikes. I’m so happy! I love the minis but they are harder for me to grow.
Mini's are difficult for me, too.. they don't spike easily like my full size phals. I'm not sure why because they get the same care as my full size phals. ☹

Beautiful Minis! I had a good chuckle when you called yourself kind of miniature. I get called that a lot, though I don't think 165 cm is that mini.... I am not sure if I saw that correctly but I think the one that you called Sogo Vivien Peloric is producing a second flower spike.
Hi, wow you have good eyes!! Yep the first flower spike appeared at the beginning of october, following an unexpected drop in temps for a few nights and this one started as a result of the normal drop in temps in my region, which happens around december ☺️
I love 💕 the minis. I recently bought some micro-minis from Trader Joe's, 4 of them, and they all got sick and died. Every one of them succumbed in exactly the same way. I think l lol avoid Micro,s from now on!
My Jihaoes pink girl's leaves under the barrina lights have a purple hue to them. Maybe it is getting too much light I don't know but it looks good with the pink flowers.

I have a question that I believe you know best and hope to get an answer from you soon - it is pertaining your Phalaenopsis Dendrobium care video. Can we give our Phalaenopsis Dendrobium a summer vacation while it is in leca semi-hydroponic system to encourage bloom in North America (New York area)? I totally get the mini phals, why have big ones when you can have twice or three times the number in smaller scale? That's what I buy now too... I will keep the big ones in the shelves under grow lights until they shoot a flower spike and I will move them on a table or counter of sorts... Thanks for your video!

@@MissOrchidGirl I figured at that price I could do some experiments. My husband has all the necessary lab equipment so I tried cross pollinating a few and if any of them take I will be trying to germinate some seeds at some point 🤞 thats a lot of ifs 😂

Hi Danny, those phalaenopsis are probably going to spike as high as 40cm from the base of the pot and require shelving spaced at 50 cm. That is what I am currently getting here. It is difficult to find phalaenopsis in spike that will be 30cm overall at maturity, small but not miniatures, I would like to have a few of those but not easy to find here. Do you let your phalaenopsis start a second spike from the top of the previous spike ? This can get out of hand, I have some phalaenopsis that are 90cm high. Nice in a way because they are flowering nonstop but where to put them ? Thanks Danny, stay safe, stay home or get a few N95s.
I would like you to know that is indeed a jiaho's pink girl. I see them all over and they come from flask very few are clones. Flask orchids have variations in color and spot patterns on blooms and leaves as the plants are like brothers and sisters without gender..
You can find the ID's by sifting through Taiwan, Thailand etc. Nursery catalogues. Some of these orchids literally just have numbers Amthaiorchids is one site to start look through to find some id's for no-IDs.
6:16 the closest ID I've been able to find in the past is Phal. Chia E. Berry (Sogo Berry × Formosa Cranberry). Maybe it's a variation of this hybrid. Hope it leads you in the right direction! 🔍
