Hey, Jayztwocents pointed out that having the 12-pin power connector bent, or cable managed, like that is the probably the reason why the connector melts. beautiful build btw.
Can you expand a bit more on this? Are you referring to the GPU power connector?

@@soham0144 yeah I am. I think the theory was that when the connector is not seated completely, it causes an electrical arc that causes the melting of the plastic connector

The only thing that I see wrong, you should have boughten a Artic or Corsair AIO 360mm or 420mm, instead of that little 240mm AIO.... I believe it's not enough to cool that CPU..... Overall great system love your detailed videos... 👍👍👍

I asked him on a stream once a few years back and he said they sell the builds as a fully built system, I assume that hasn't really changed at all
3:55 You actually cannot upgrade to 4 sticks of ram with that cpu unless its under 3600 mhz ddr5 ram. I see you installed 5600 mhz ram so you would either have to downgrade to fit 4 sticks or buy more powerful 2 sticks. Its on AMD's product page for the cpu under ram compatibility. I recently built a 7900x cpu build and ran into this problem. The problem runs for the entire ryzen 7000 series cpus. Insane build none the less. Keep up the insane content!

Well ive got 4 Sticks at 6000mhz cl 36 but Yeah am5 ram is a pain in the Ass to get right

I got the same exact Zotac 4090; I got mine on launch day from newegg but when I installed mine half of the leds were dead on it, and still are, but other than that the card works fine. Nice build!

Hey Joey, how did you mount that cooler without using the clipping mechanism? I thought am5 boards had to use the clipping mechanism for am4 coolers. I didn't see you install a backplate (because you can't) so what is the cooler even being supported by?

@CRATER What cable do you use on that monitor from the 4090? The 4090 only has 2, 2.1 hdmi outs? Asking the question as I'm waiting for parts in the mail. Hdmi 2.1 only supports up to 120hz at 4k I thought....

Hey! So I was building this PC and my only issue is when I went to hook up the monitor it’s saying that it isn’t connected. Could I have hooked something up wrong? Also the LED lights…. You don’t mention where they hook up at. I plugged them into the 4 prong area at the bottom but they aren’t lighting up. I thought maybe they would need to plug into the light thing the fans were on but the connectors don’t seem
To fit in that. You have any suggestions on what I should check since it’s not picking up the monitor?
