Gaming was my second focus, current workloads benifit from copious amounts of ram and high ST performance. Benchmarked a bunch of systems across AMD, TR and Intel. 14900k (probably could have gone the ks) and 192gb ram was the sweet spot. TR performed significantly worse in gaming, but I didn't need the additional ram or multi core perf ATM. AMD 7950x3d has/d compatability issues with this much ram (ram is needed) also lower ST performance 7800x3d was horrific for my workloads but better in gaming. Also ram support issues. Couldn't justify dropping 40k on a TR build to then have to spend another 8-10 on a gaming PC as well. Stability wise 0 issues here, PC doesn't get hot enough to have the thermal issues of the 14th gen chips, even at load. For refrence - 13c ATM outside maybe 15c inside Idle CPU 20c (20% fan speed) Idle Gpu 17c (20% fan speed) 100% load CPU 62c (60% fan speed) 100% load GPU 31c (60% fan speed)

should've gone with the AMD ryzen 9 7950X3D or waited for Ryzen 9000 (disclaimer Ryzen 9 7950X3d has no bottleneck with 4K ultrawide gaming but has problems with core assignment making it have some issues with gaming)

For gaming yes, this is productivity and gaming. Currently chewing around 115gb usage, so 192gb felt safe until I can justify individual systems for gaming and work. Then it'll be TR/xeon builds with TB not GB of ram 🥲 16gb - wheres my ram ? 32gb - I can open chrome now 64gb - "you have insufficient memory for this task" 128gb - I mean... It's alright 192gb - this will do... For now...
Computers are supposed to be hot. It’s good to have cooling, but if you have too much then electricity will struggle to flow and create performance issues.
All this new best watercooled setup isn't worth to watch nowadays, it used to be cool but I kinda lost the touch as there's future sets that will take its place.

Ram voltages and timings are very dependent on low temperatures, and can 100% make the difference between having crashes or a smooth operating system

Not best in Gaming, multi-tasking and heating up your house, yes. Gaming you need 78003XD or wait for ZEN 5
Also the 14th gen high end (i7, and especially i9) had some stability issues as much as I've heard
