Hi everyone! Here's my watercolour painting of a Dragon Eye! This was extremely fun to attempt. With all of my fan art and fantasy art drawings I always spend a lot of time planning and thinking about the process, but with watercolour paintings I love to go straight into the painting and adapt as I go. I know that it is 3 years after it was originally posted, but this is such a great piece of art. The reasoning behind each choice was excellent as well and something that anyone wanting to provide good tutorials should do in order to help students make sense of the process. Thanks for posting!
I started drawing 2 weeks ago. At the moment, I'm keeping it quite minimalist, using mostly graphite pencils and focusing on technique and self-discipline to master basic concepts like sketching good shapes, shading, etc. Your channel is a great source of motivation and inspiration to me. I know it most likely is too time consuming, but it would be the coolest if you could do a full painting. Like a floating island with a dragon or something. Love your work, It's always a joy to watch someone on your skill level
Really impressive painting! The eye looks realistic and I'm impressed by the amount of detail you added. Especially because you used watercolour, which I consider to be quite a hard medium for works with lots of details. And I really like watching you work on dragon drawings, too 😉
This is just eye-mazing. idea: what if you drew a giant from human perspective in the reflection that humans eye. I know this is hard, but I'm sure you can handle it.

hi chris, i love your art, its always incredible and fun to watch. i think it would be pretty cool if you did a drawing of a creature like a naga, or a harpy.
Have you ever used a different light colour to highlight with than white? Like bright pink on the red.. etc.. just a thought. sometimes the white really doesn't fit, tho it conveys what you're looking for. just a thought!

I like that you actually started the drawing at the beginning of the video. I usually have trouble figuring it out where I should start the outlines.
Draw a four headed dragon with four different elements(earth, fire, water, etc.)
