Hey Jake I’ve been training for about 3-4 months now and recently when adjusting my form my brain decided I would have target panic. Honestly only now i realize how hard it is for someone with target panic and i respect you even more, it’s so unnatural and unexplainable. For the first time ever in my last training session i released my arrow at half draw dumbfounded. Just wanted to vent a little
Aris kindly made my I am recurve grip at 80% scale a year or so ago, much better than standard, but still gave me a massive callus at the base of my hand, will need to try this one out :)
From Germany - automatic translation! Hi Jake, I'm very happy that a small handle is finally available to buy. Thanks to you and your wife! I will order it, but I'm still unsure about the height. What height does Heather use? I am 1.60 m tall and the circumference of my palm is 19 cm. I would like to send you a photo with the measurements of my hand... Thanks for your answer! Best regards A loyal fan of yours Claudia
I bought my LPP grip from Rcore, glass-like blood popsicle, amazing product, shiny, fit my hand perfectly, however, it forms crack near the bolts after about a year of using, the cracks getting bigger as more shooting, now it’s totally broken. I switch back to my wooden grip, shoot about 2 years now, no problem at all, maybe I will order wooden one from Rcore next time
@@JakeKaminskiArchery I used the provided washers, maybe I tightened the bolts too much (or maybe not enough), maybe it's because of the material. I contacted Rcore, it's over warranty period so there are not much I can do about it. By the way the LPP grip is amazing, love your design
The angles really aren’t specific for the style. I designed the other recurve or barebow grips with just that particular bow in mind. In general to start I’d say something 35 degrees or less for barebow and 38-40 for recurve.
@JakeKaminskiArchery this is true. That's a more specialised set of manufacturing skills though. Although I've seen them with no real grip on the compounds

How does a lowered pivot point grip affect the shot, draw length, and feel?

Did you use the supplied washers? Drop Aris a line at R Core, he may have some help for you.

Are there options for barebow vs olympic angles?

What risers is this compatible with? I have a Kinetic Adeo and struggle with the grip as a female with small hands.
R Core makes the grips to order to fit any riser.
Nice piece of work that. I know a couple of hobbit sized humans that could use that
Unless they are armless archers.

The angle of the grip on Olympic recurves vs traditional recurves is wildly different….why is that?
Optimal vs comfort imho.
I got big hands. Everything else is proportional :P.

😲
Yeah, my hands are small.
ie, wear men's size small Motorbike gloves.
Perfect for this grip for sure.
