Yes please more videos love your technique
Corky you are the first person to demonstrate how to tie a geode fully to me. You added lots of tips and tricks. Thank you so much. After watching your video I created a pair of geode modal pants. Wish I could post a photo of them so you could see. They turned out so well. They are a gift for my sister but I am so tempted to keep them for myself. Thank you again for all of your help. Your tiedye creations are so beautiful and an amazing inspiration.
You're quickly becoming my newest guilty pleasure 😂 I just love your teaching style. You're awesome. Thank you for doing these tutorials!
You need a sinew puller! They sell them with a caddy but I didn't want to pay $70 for it so I did this: bought a "baking tamper" from Amazon for $7. It's a wooden spool with 2 rounded, flat ends. I screwed a screw into the end of one. Then I use my drill, and put it in the head of the screw, to spin the tamper and get all my sinew off the roll it comes on, and onto the wooden roll. I have the sinew roll on a chopstick shoved through a paper towel roll so it can sit up and roll freely. (If you have a helper you can just have them hold it for you.) Just slightly move the wooden roller back and forth so the sinew doesn't bunch up in one area too much. It's so much easier to grab and pull TIGHT and way cheaper than a real sinew puller and caddy.
This seems so much quicker and easier than ice. Getting ready for my first go around and was gonna use ice but now I’m not so sure
I hope you have some fun with it!
Thanks you for sharing this. I love how your shirts come out!!! Looking forward to trying this out immediately.
Ohhhhh I love it! You're so kind to take time at the beginning and share your process. ❤ I appreciate the explanations to about how and why the dyes react the way they do. I'm an amateur ;)
✌️🇨🇦Ooo I love it! And Im a subscriber. Because of you I tried geode tie dyes and Im in love love love with it. Can't wait for the next video. Yup Ive watched all of your other ones 😊. Have a great week🎈
You're out of control. Subbed. I love finding tie dyers that experiment.
I love your clever username! Thank you for your kind comment! 🥰
Wonderful dog face on back in middle left geode center 🤗🐶 two black eyes, black nose and mouth open panting with pink tongue 👅
LOVE THIS SHIRT. Mine is soaking in hot water right now for 30 minutes 😊
Omg I'm rewatching portions and just noticed a cat face two spaces above the dog! 😅🐱
Btw... I have a serious case of peridolia
I thought I was the adult in 2024 wearing toe socks! 😍🤣
Neat. What dye kit to get off Amazon? I didn't watch full vid
They have 50lb sinew on eBay that you’ll be hard pressed to break without putting a hole in the shirt! I’ve never tried spandex shirts tho!
Oh really?? Maybe I need to try that. It’s so frustrating when it breaks. 😬
Have you talked about your dye particle size theory in a video?
Just do a slip knot to start!
Could you achieve the same affect using liquid dye?
Do you let the shirt dry before taking off string?
Do you turn the shirt inside out?
Anyone else see the upside-down on the front?
You got to learn how to make a slip knot…it’ll change your world
For tying geodes shirts?
What do you use to tie your shirts? I use sinew too and my lines are always white...how do you get the fabric under the sinew to pick up dye...your geodes have colorful sinew lines.
