I'll be honest and say that I wasn't expecting much when this started with pine cones. But WOW - Blown Away. The colors and patterns are stunning. Well done.
Oh goodness, what a dreamy effect! Real nice turnout, and good choice of colours for the resin too- they really complement the warm deep browns of the pinecones, which end up almost looking like filigree with the dreamy cloud like resin. Almost rococo!
Loved watching the process the day before you crafted this vase. As it’s approaching autumn, I would have loved to see the use of more autumnal colours in the resin choices. Nice job!
Your work no matter what it is is a beautiful creation!!! I love art in all of it's forms from what you do to painting, music, drawing, quilting, cooking. Most often than not I'm always drawn to the Lathe and whatever is being created by that artist and sometimes how thin can you make those walls 😁. Have a blessed day!🌻
Heya Mr. Jack 👋. So, I got to thinkin' that if we had been born brothers, same parents and all, I'm betting that they would have pretty much told you to give me this pinecone to treasure for, like, ever!! LoL grin 🤔😅☺️. I'm actually certain of this. Such phenomenal items of cool and unusual art in some of the best pieces one could imagine. Very very nice my brother Jack. Grin ☺️👍😎
You appear on my for you page a whole lot,and I just wanna say, I love watching the projects turn into ocular masterpieces in the end! Thank you for this wonderful contribution to the art world!
You are one of my favorite wood turners … Red Kite came in a close second & then it was confirmed what I thought … that “he was the one & only Jack Mack!” The thumb operation is what FINALLY gave it away for me … FIRSTLY it was the amazing talent that he had!!! There could not be two turners with so many of the same mannerisms! Can you please tell me what species of tree pine cone this is? We have them locally here in Alaska & I am surprised to see them where you are … or maybe it’s “where you got them from?” If you know, I would appreciate that information. Thank you Sir. Looking forward to all your upcoming videos!!!
Hello there Jack! Brother, this is very cool. I love the pinecone turns. I have seen some folks try them in the past. But by far yours are always the best brother
Hi Jack. That's a really neat looking vase mate ! I've never played with resin & I'm only a newbie to turning in general but am going to have a crack at it. Can I ask a couple of things ? What cleans wet resin from your tools & stuff ? Also, I don't have a pressure pot nor the cash or space to get one really so what / how would I go about it ? This is an open pair of questions to everyone in the comments. Cheers folks 👍🏴
Beautiful work! Love that if there’s no narration then it shop noise, 👍🏻 But for me narration is better, imo Only thing I dislike is the inertia effect on the piece turning! I want to see it turn naturally, part the fun! But otherwise excellent 👍🏻 😊
Dieses Mal kann ich leider keinen Daumen hoch halten. Ich bin passionierter Holzliebhaber und deshalb gefällt mir das Drechseln von Plastik Material gar nicht 😢
Very nice. And thanks for keeping your videos short. I (we?) simply do not have time to watch ten or more 30 min. videos every day. I am (unfortunately!) unsubscribing a lot of those daily marathons. Kind regards.

Wow!! That really turned out gorgeous!!! Great idea to use the neon!!
I was so skeptical about the blue and green, now I'm a believer. Great work!!!!
I also use pine cones in some of my designs makes the finished item much more interesting!!
Good morning Jack, WOW, the pattern is stunning, this one a display. This is BEAUTIFUL.

Wow! I think this piece is absolutely gorgeous. Out of all the videos I've watched this is absolutely my favorite piece!❤❤❤
❤😮 I love the colors that are in this vase. It’s beautiful and the color stayed separated, so you could tell exactly what they were simply beautiful.😊
Colours are beautiful and the pine cones just make it very special.
Glad to see someone paid attention in shop class.

Absolutely stunning.
May I ask - how long, in reality, does it take you to create something like this? Thank you.
About 4 hours over 2 days
Beautiful work. What finish do you use at the end?
Another fantastic piece, well done! What is the name of the hollowing tool you used?
Amazing! How long do most pieces take from start to finish?
4:36 that is trippy as hell
Real
🎉🎉🎉🎉
👍👍👍👍👍👏👏👏👏👏
you got my friend using epoxy for no reason now. thanks i guess.
I will give it a try, what is the machine you use to put your project in overnight.thanks.
He uses a pressure pot connected to an air compressor. It forces out all of the air bubbles, and gets the resin into every gap.
Looks like Plankton under a microscope
Vincent Van Cone.
I hate pine trees, I hate pine straw, and I don't love pine cones.
But this was not bad. I didn't hate it. 😅
So, guess not to worried about the 2 cracks in it
