  • My little Friday ramble about where and why the fuzz face guitar fuzz pedal came about … sorry about the crunchy audio folks

REEVES, you need to make a video lesson about how all these 60s fuzz pedal were based on "leakage biasing" because the transistors had leakage. Also when you set a Vcc voltage it changes the transistors Re internal resistance so if you adjust the Vcc voltage to a different biasing voltage it will alter and change the transistor junction resistance causing a drifting effects. The FF face is a shunt series feedback two transistor stage which is very sensitive to the guitars volume pot resistance setting which is the guitar output impedance which is very sensitive to the FF input impedance. There needs to be a video lesson about the FF input impedance is in relations with the guitars output impedance. Try to make a video lesson about this subject leakage biasing and the transistors Re internal resistance changing from the Vcc bias voltage .

Awesome videos, very interesting and informative 👍
I have a question, where in the timeline and circuit design does the band of gypsy fuzz face fit
