      So so true man! I was in my late teens to early 20's when this all exploded. Was an exciting time indeed. I'm privileged to have lived through it & bought the records. My only regret is that I never got to attend any DnB parties. Maybe a few house parties. Still...a great time for all of us who know! :)

    1995; I was 18 years old. Lived about a mile away from the Sanctuary and raving was everything. I'm so glad I lived through this.

    Tune I ain't heard it for a few years I stumbled across it looking on TH-cam at old-school dnb tunes I used to blast in the mid 1990s to 2006 era we don't get propper dark deep drum and bass tunes anymore sadly especially stuff like goldie/lemon d/metal headz but dnb vibes always take me back to happier better times as its the closest thing to a time machine we have got!!! 😎🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳

      @@Swindybobs79 I was probably feeling a bit hype when I wrote that. I shouldn't say for certain that one producer is better than another. I tend to go through phases even. To say Photek is the best would understate boys like Intense, Aquasky, Wax Doctor, Jonny L etc.

    I love this tune is it me or does the phase between the snare and bass drums change throughout the tune? after the drop at 4.38 its like the tune has loads of swing ? what is timing structure of this? I don't know the correct musical terminology to properly say what I mean lol

      Disagree mate , I was attending raves from 1990 - 1995 and the Music progression was Hardcore then Drum n Bass then Jungle !
      Listen to LTJ Bukem ( master of drum n bass )
      The style of Jungle is much more choppy than D n B.
      Like I said before compare ... The Helicopter tune to Atlantis by LTJ Bukem and you can tell the difference in styles !
