I saw Dr Tony in the American Airlines Admiral's Lounge some time after mama had passed. He was traveling with Priscilla and it looks like they were coming from a ministry assignment. I wanted to greet him but the man of God looked exhausted and Priscilla was taking care of her dad and i didn't want to disturb because as a fellow minister i know how one sometimes just needs to rest and repair. I remember praying Lord please bless Dr T with a helpmeet. Nobody will ever replace mama but this work is hard enough with help. Without that companion to stand by you is that much harder. Praying the Lord's blessings on you Dr T and Mrs Carla Evans . This warms my heart to no end.
I'm 69 and this gives me great hope and encouragement for meeting someone. Thank you Lord Jesus🙏❤
He loved his wife. It's been four years without her. His children are grown, with their own families. He has a right to be happy. The age gap may be an issue for many people, but STILL HIS RIGHT to move on with his life...and that doesn't take away his love for his first wife. The children most likely still grieving, probably always will. He is too (was with her for 49 years of marriage). I wish the entire family love, strength, peace, joy and healing.❤🙏

You are so right. It doesn't mean he didn't love Lois. My husband passed around the same time as Mrs. Evans. I told God just last year, whatever his plan is for me, I'm open! This was such a blessing for Pastor Evans. I've been following his ministry for over 30 years, and love it. As long as his children are okay with their father moving on, and even if they weren't, he deserves happiness too, and he and the new Mrs. Evans look very happy! What God has joined together, let no man put asunder! Thank you for sharing this and I pray God's blessings on them and His will for your life as well. You've encouraged many. I just turned 73, and I'm encouraged!
I believe if someone gets divorced or someone passes away you know one spouse or the other that people should just stay single for the rest of their life rather than go through that all over again you heal from it and now you don't want to go back to that it's like picking out a sore it's just about healed or it is healed up and then your next wife or husband passes away or divorces you then you just don't want to you know open up a wound that's already healed

Listen when u reach a certain age, it is Not Good to be Alone. This is not about romance, or even sex. At that age, I do not want to be alone, or live alone. It’s not safe. I had the privilege of being part of Dr. Evans church of many years when I lived in Dallas. His ministry blessed me and my mother, now deceased. His wife, Lois, was a beautiful light for her family. Now, her light shines in heaven with Christ and Dr. Evans has new beginning with someone that God had sent him for companionship. May the Lord continue to bless him, his ministry, his future wife, and his family.

We are almost 84 this year! we got married 12 years ago this coming April!! God blessed me with a wonderful man I lost my husband of 48 years and thought I would never marry again !! Lol God had different plans 4 years later we were married !!
Eyewitness my grandfather at the age of 86, remarry after my grandmother passed after over 50 years of marriage. The reception alone was "swinging" as his new wife who was then about 82 years of age wore a hot pink dress with frills while he had on an all white suit matching brim. "Smokin'🎉" That has encouraged me for the rest of my life! All things are possible with God!❤

God takes something tragic and creates something beautiful. ♥️ I personally know someone who lost his wife to cancer (both were in their 30's at the time) and he was remarried in less than a year later! His new wife lost her husband at the same time and as acquaintances they offered support to one another, resulting in love. 😍 When you are a believer and KNOW that your deceased spouse is in heaven, it is so freeing to know they're experiencing something INCREDIBLE. They'd want you to move on.

This is just the circle of life. Man was not made to be alone and the Tony Evans is no exception. This really doesn’t surprise me at all! His new wife does look as young as his daughter. No other woman can replace his first wife.

I was divorced and then shortly after he committed suicide. I grieved his loss so hard it flipped my world upside down as I never planned on marrying again. Was single god 10 yrs and started walking with the Lord and prayed for a husband for a year and He gave me the most amazing husband! We now have been married 11 yrs and we have a 3 yr old together and at 43, having a baby boy soon.
God is truly good the pastor love hi wife for 49years he did not walk out on her she was ill and die and her soul is resting with her God and he still has to be happy God bless you both I love your entire family members
