Third try was the charm. Looking for straightforward explanation of quickshot. The other vlogger videos I watched didn't even tell me how to get into quickshot mode. You nailed it. Thank you. Look forward to a great day in the mountains with the drone.
Really clear excellent tutorial. Thanks for posting this. Just got my Spark a few weeks ago so I'm trying to learn all I can before using all these modes.
Thanks Dylan you are awesome, I've had my Spark for about 9 months and you are making it more enjoyable. That tiny manual that comes with it needs a lot of improving mainly in size of text.
dude, am currently watching ALL of your spark vids, i think hands-down you are the most clear, to the point, and REAL drone dude on youtube. you do a better job than any other "typical" drone guy, and far better than DJI's own manuals! hope to see some more vids soon with your spark! also- do you have pointers and thoughts about doing firmware updates for the controller and drone?
@@deeyung Hi, Thanks for the video. I'd like to ask you if you have any idea as why my dji spark does not record the last stages of dronnie and rocket. It will do it when it's getting away but it won't when it's coming back towards me.
Thanks for these vids. My Spark (more me than the Spark, lol) has been patiently waiting for winter to go away and I'm having to refresh myself on the controller operations. From the sound of it, there were some sw improvements over the last few months.
Hey Dylan, Love that you are doing Spark tutorials as so many have abandoned the Spark for the Air. Can you look further into the quickshot as I believe you can customise each of the shots by selecting it then taping again to set the paramenters.
Thank you for this video.. very well done and great for a beginner pilot like myself. ive been messing with those dang shots for a week now and never works. will try again now. Thanks 🤪👍
Been flying my traxxas aton fpv for year..Just got my spark yesterday and all I cam say is....Whoooooooooooooooooo😎 Awesome lil guy with plenty of punch and extras👌
I'm new to drones. I have s Spark, can't even get it to do anything other than flash the lights. I hope to one day be able to use it to get great video shots like you have done.
Great video, just got my spark so found this very useful! How did you jump out of the HUD on the app, was this just some unreal editing or not? The picture looked so much clearer! Good job!
Thank you for the tutorial @Dylan Young. Question: how do I make videos of more than 8 seconds? (the dronie trajectory for instance takes more than 8 seconds, and I've seem people who post the whole footage)
nice vid, I like the perspective. but in order to show the full capability of rocket and helix you need to start at a lower altitude. If you start that high, helix just look like circle and loses the effect, just like rocket. Main idea for these is to start low, and end high. Just a tip. Keep up the great vids.
Mine dronied straight into a tree. The woods were way off in the distance, and I had no idea how far it was going to go. I thought it would let me select the distance, but it didn’t. Before I could figure out how to stop it, it slammed into a tree, and crashed. Lots of damage. It still flies, but not well. Pieces are missing.
in a ROCKET mode, is it possible to still touch the joy stick so it rotate as it goes upward? btw, how do we achieve that upward and rotating shots. I just got my drone and haven't tested yet.
Hey Dylan. Great tutorials. I have a question though. I cannot access these features whilst connected via the RC. Are you using wifi connection or the radio connection?
Kiwi sports fan83 i figured it out. Those features are ONLY available when you connect the RC to your mobile device via Bluetooth. If you connect via on the go cable they are not available. Not sure why....
How do I change the distance for all these modes? I selected a certain distance when I first set up my spark but now I want to change it before I use it. Can anyone help?
can you put on obstacle avoidance when using the quick shot modes so you don't have to worry or would you still have to make sure you are at a high enough altitude no matter what?
"obstacle avoidance when using the quick shot modes" Definitely check the environment very carefully when using Dronie, since the Spark flies up and back, and there is no obstacle avoidance when flying backwards.
Thanks Dylan. Were you flying via remote control -- or just a phone? My hunch is RC because reception was great the whole time. PS I agree with all the nice comments.
I have the same question... did you get an answer for that? Also, how to have videos of more than 8 seconds? (the dronie trajectory takes more than 8 seconds)
I am having problems when using this quickshot setting. The processed video gets a very low quality trailed and trambling look and it is like it is at a high speed rate. Apparently i am doing the right thing when operating the aircraft but i dont know whats going on. Anyone can help with this? (Ps: firware is updated too)
I don't believe it will on these "quick shots" because of the patterns they make. There are no obstacle avoidance sensors on the back or sides of the Spark. Only the front and bottom. But I'm pretty sure all the sensors are disabled in "quick shot" intelligent flight mode.
just touch the screen and hold your finger down on the top left corner of the subject. then whilst dragging your finger down and to the right over the subject. a box will appear
@@LearnWithCrissynJohn Not sure where Nname is located, but In Australia there is an app called "Can I Fly There?" which run by or uses data from CASA which is the Civil Aviation Safety Authority, a government agency. It loads all airports, helipads and even updates in real time for natural disasters and emergencies such as fires etc.
I believe it does but the Spark only has front avoidance detection, so given most of these modes are moving to the side, back or up which aren't monitored by the Spark.

Great video, just got the spark, and was struggling a bit with changing the modes on quick shots. Now I see where I went wrong, thank you!

I swear you could be the dji support channel! These videos are great, straight forward, to the point, very frequent uploads! Major Props!
Just Living Life Thank you so much for the kind words man, means a lot! :)

just brought a spark and man I am glad I found your channel.
That was great. Just got the Spark and still figuring it all out. Going to try these tips on my channel. Thanks.
Cool. Thank you for the quick demos. That was helpful. 👍🏽

sir you have such a great voice for youtube!!!
Very informative for the novice flyer! Thanks...

For the rocket, you should center the drone right above your exact location and spot the subject. Great tutorial.
I'm new to drones. I have s Spark, can't even get it to do anything other than flash the lights. I hope to one day be able to use it to get great video shots like you have done.
Nice video! If I set my Spark to a helix mode, and start slowly driving my car, does it follow me at the same time as doing the helix?
Thanks. Brief and to the point. Great instructional video.
This was very helpful, thank you for sharing! Can you adjust the length of recording or how far the Spark travels during the intelligent flight modes?
This was actually a very informative video thanks for the efforts.
Great video, just got my spark so found this very useful! How did you jump out of the HUD on the app, was this just some unreal editing or not? The picture looked so much clearer! Good job!
Great demonstration Dylan! I love my Spark! Thanks for sharing.
Very good knowledge intake, friend. warm greetings from Indonesia
Nice tips! I just know that quick shot is a good features. Never try that before. Thanks for ur vids
Thank you Dylan! I love your tutorial! Very precise and informative!
Thanks! BTW... Helix goes UP and OUT as it circles, getting higher and farther away.
Great video Dylan. Very informative and helpful. Thanks!

Just got a spark used for 300 it was the whole fly package thing with remote i love it
How did you get the crosshairs to come up on screen? That looks so cool!
Nice video. How can you record a video while drone is at work? I wanted to shoot a video but i dont want the props being heard on the recording.
does the spark have to select an object thats small? or can I do a circle or dronie for lets say a house, or a building or monument?
Thank you that was very helpful.
Tnx and greetings from Denmark
Dude, this was a fantastic video thank you!!!!
Thanks for the info bro👍

Thanks Dylan for a great and easy to understand video!
I know there is active track but is quick shot still focusing the object if it is moving?
Thanks man! Now I'll try it on my next drone outing! 🤘
You are very welcome and good luck!
Thank you for sharing...very informative.
Fantastic tutorial!
I like it ! , I just order a drone not quite like The spark , cause I'm a beginner lol
excellent video
Great tutorial
i noticed my quickshots on mavic air 2 look blurry on pc when created on phone. is there a way to remake
Veri nice tutorial & great effort dude.
Nice tipsss bro

Guitar Lover make sure it’s not in sport mode on your rc
Kiwi sports fan83 i figured it out. Those features are ONLY available when you connect the RC to your mobile device via Bluetooth. If you connect via on the go cable they are not available. Not sure why....
Great video thanks for the tips!
Does it record everything to your phone if you want even pictures
How do I change the distance for all these modes? I selected a certain distance when I first set up my spark but now I want to change it before I use it. Can anyone help?
Thanks. Very helpful.

I just visited your other spark videos and saw you fly it using a remote.
How to exporting cache video without fast efect from Dji go 4 app?
Wondering the same thing
I have the same question... did you get an answer for that? Also, how to have videos of more than 8 seconds? (the dronie trajectory takes more than 8 seconds)
I’m no longer getting the options for circle and rest …any ideas ..
Amazing very informative
Is there a way to increase the speed of the dronie or circle?
thanks! great tutorial
Thnx bro
Nice one Dylan :)
So you have to stationary?
Very informative thanks😊🤙🏾

it's really pixelated in your phone but if you try to look to the saved video in the sd card, it's good quality...just check
I loss mine about a year ago (high in a tree). New Spark was suppose to be out in 2019. Guys, the year is half over WTF.
can i do quickshot without microsd inserted?
Hello.. why my video quickshot crash?
Thank you ...
if your using quick shots and suddenly want to manualy control your drone because its gonna hit on something.. can you do that?
yes, there is an X on the screen in red color, just press there and u going back to manual control.
Thanks alot. Very helpful :)
Nice info 👍
The problem is i cant find where is the video saved?
Thanks
tutorial is gr8 bt can i do all of these jst with a android?????
why i cant find it on my iphone 5s
WHAT DO YOU DO IF THE DJI GO 4 APP DOES NOT OPEN
Yes the only problem is we cant find the recorded video
If you fail to set a clear path, will the obstacle avoidance kick in and save you?
I don't believe it will on these "quick shots" because of the patterns they make. There are no obstacle avoidance sensors on the back or sides of the Spark. Only the front and bottom. But I'm pretty sure all the sensors are disabled in "quick shot" intelligent flight mode.
Obstacle avoidance is totally turned off when using Quickshots. I learned this the hard way.
On Doonie I wish it would record on return also ....
How do you "draw a box"?
just touch the screen and hold your finger down on the top left corner of the subject. then whilst dragging your finger down and to the right over the subject. a box will appear
Why min doesn’t have the bottom ... has only
Take off and landing ???? How can I add it
cool
Nelson putra sumba..
Dji spark
I just bought a spark. My house is in the middle of "No- Fly Hotspot" FML! 😭
how did you figure that out?

looks like the new gta

Very helpful video, thanks
Great video thanks!!!
