    At 16 minutes 07, we see a wall with blue lights on it, I like it very much ! Can you give the reference about the wave that are on it please ? ( sorry I don't know how to call this surface )

    How are you powering the Teradek Ace 500 while using the gimbal so that you can walk around? Also, I love the video and the creativity that you have put into making things happen with excellence!!

    Hi,
    It was a great share! I really learned a lot from it. For the longest time, we have been thinking about upgrading visuals, but the budget was a problem. This is an amazing method, and I think I will be able to follow this process. I will be sharing this with other community members and I hope they can find it useful too. I will try to share my ideas with them, and hopefully, we can settle on a decision that we all love.

    It was great hearing that he has a G7 that never turns off. We just switched from camcorders to G7s. It's good to know we dont HAVE to turn them off every sunday

      I mean, I wouldn’t leave them on if you don’t have to lol. This one just is temperamental about powering on, so we just never turn it off 😂

    Love Rylands stuff. Really doubted the G7 cameras, but after seeing the results he's getting, we might need to scrap our Canon XA40s and get some of those!

    Great as always! Is this a reupload? I think I had access to that since the last video with Ryan maybe trough the link in the description. Was this private or am I wrong?

    What do you think about PTZ cameras ?

    • @collabworship
      @collabworship  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      We do not have first hand experience with PTZ cameras. However, we've heard many say that love them... and about just as many say they don't. So it probably just depends on the application.

    It's hard to imagine that this is a 'budget' set-up. Our worship budget is about $1500/yr and we occasionally have exceptions for 1-time expenditures. For instance: our keyboard had been played out for a couple years, but we kept holding on. Finally, our leadership council approved a purchase for a Nord, but that left us with little left for replacement costs for equipment (you know, cables, bulbs, breakable bits, etc.) I just don't think that your 'budget' tech tour was practical for any church that doesn't have a significantly wealthier congregation than yours.

    • @RylandRussell
      @RylandRussell 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Dean, “budget” means different things to everyone. Some churches have one camera lens that cost more than this entire setup! Having NO budget is tough, I have been there before.

    • @collabworship
      @collabworship  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey Dean, totally get what you're saying. And like Ryland said, the word "budget" is different for everyone. The message we wanted to get across in this video is that you can make the most of the budget you have if you put your mind to it and stretch your creativity.
      Ryland has done an incredible job of taking these techniques that are typically reserved for mega church budgets, and finding a way to make it work, and look great on a much smaller budget.
      So even if his budget looks way bigger than yours, our hope is that you're encouraged by how far some creativity and ingenuity can get you. Ryland landed with his current setup after many years of slowly working with his budget to make it a little better each year. Something we can all learn from. You don't have to have it all worked out right away.
      - Dillon

    None of this has to do with a church on a budget!! FYI lol

    • @collabworship
      @collabworship  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Although Ryland's budget is bigger than smaller churches, he has been able to accomplish a level of excellence high above what his budget typically allows. He's done this by investing in 1 piece at a time over the long term and using his brain to come up with unique solutions at a more affordable cost.
      The morale of the video... You can stretch your budget to accommodate a higher level of excellence if you get creative.
