This is so much fun, I've always loved this level. It's like a fun Halloween romp, and the lobby is actually outside. I think it's the only level with an entrance outside of the lair (unless we count Spiral Mountain as a level, that is). My favorite variation of the theme is when you open up the church and bells blend into the main theme.
Recently found an old Banjo Kazooie VHS promo tape at an estate sale which has prompted me to replay the game for the 1000th time. Just about to start this area of the game! Very spooky and lively mix!
The Banjo Kazooie soundtrack is so well arranged that is actually pretty hard to beat the original. You managed to add your personal flavor to this one, while preserving the general feel of the track. Great work, as always!

Fun fact: In Britain, Wakefield Prison (in the city of Wakefield in West Yorkshire, in Northern England) is often referred to as the "Monster Mansion". This is due to the large number of convicted murderers and sex offenders held there, as it is a maximum-security prison. The nickname has also been applied to another maximum-security prison in Northern England - Frankland Prison in County Durham.
Makes sense that Rare would use that terminology in Banjo-Kazooie considering they're a British company. Got to say that's kind of neat... but then why didn't they call the Tower of London "Monster Castle" by that logic? Or did they do that at some point? I don't know.

Just wondering, have you done a cover of the deep underwater portion of Clanker's Cavern? That part of the level genuinely scared me as a kid. The music sounds legit menacing.
