I'm 32 now, my music taste has changed pretty drastically, but I still think The Curse is one of my fondest albums along with The Poison by BFMV and Waking the Fallen by Avenged Sevenfold

This doesn't have much difference to the new Metalcore bands, only that they have more techno related sounds. But still, its in everything, people say that the new ones are bad and that the old ones were great. Edit: and the new ones have more fancy music video editing.
I love the old stuff like Atreyu, All That Remains, and Killswitch Engage. But there's also some amazing new metalcore bands taking the stage such as Sirens&Sailors and Rise to Remain, you should really check them out.
