Just saw Atreyu in concert with the Used, Sum 41, and many more. Atreyu’s drummer really blew me away. I never noticed that he sang the choruses while playing the drums. You should hear the power in his voice when he sings and drums live. He deserves way more recognition because he’s a god!!🤘🏻

This song which came out in the late spring of 2007, came out at the perfect time in my life. At that time, I was incredibly insecure and indecisive, and it was through the lessons taught by this song that I finally gathered up the strength in me to Become The Bull. Thank you, Atreyu.
Atreyu at the House of Blues in Orlando was my first ever concert, back in like 2011. I was 19 and they were my favorite band in high school, after I found out that they got their name from the character from the Neverending Story. That was my favorite movie as a child and I loved rock music, so...once I realized that their drummer shared vocals and could still play while singing, I knew they were talented and I was HOOKED. I got to see them perform this song live and it was absolutely amazing. Still one of the best live shows I've seen to this day. ❤️
Brandon Saller does have the better clean vocal sound however Alex's singing and even screaming is also very important to Atreyu's overall sound. They complement each other almost perfectly.

Discovering your favorite bands for the first time is amazing. Though you may find other bands you love as you get older, it never holds the same feeling as it did before. Godsmack, Avenged Sevenfold, Mudvayne, Atreyu, Bullet For My Valentine, Alter Bridge, Lacuna Coil, Shadows Fall, for a few examples, all came into prominence in the early to mid 2000's. There are no bands that sound like them anymore and won't ever be. I am always looking for new music, but it is hard to find it in the same taste that I enjoy.
