This is perfect for a beginner who wants to get a taste of FPV. It’s NOT a racing drone. I’m happy with all the features it has to offer with this drone. I’ll make the purchase for the racing drone when I have the time and inclination to learn.

Thanks for your info I'm having other issues like won't fly into wind and I did before and it was acting funny went to land thinking something wrong soon as I landed it motors went full speed had to hold it down and pull the plug scary enough just deal with that I only have 20 flights give or take and only once rubbed the 2 props and replaced still same issue ugh
In the camera settings ,you can turn "distortion correction" on it will crop in and remove the props from the image

yes, I agree they need a carbon fiber chassis, if they make that or a third-party id buy it in a heartbeat, they should also have a kit where you can swap the components on a different body that would be sick..
very good point about the remotes. I seen the remote as just getting the drone out without all the hassle. You however made a very good point

Just watched th video, and I've just bought one of these babies and I love it. I'm just starting fpv and this thing is just what I needed. You now can get spear parts if you look. I've just ordered a set of clear props. Love thing. 👌👌😉
i agree with the motion controller 100%..... would be amazing to have both connected at the same time that the spotter/ trainer has controler over the pause button..... amazing idea but dji doesnt listen to the community.... obvious from the lack of frimware updates since release date to fix all the issues plaguing the dji fpv ecosystem still.... my biggest dislike is having to rebind everytime i swap between airunits and dji fpv.... super annoying

I can fly more relaxed now that i konw that i have spare parts for this drone.
Hope dji solve issues and improve the app and the drone with the next updates.
Nice video, i like that you are not like other TH-camrs that come and insults on this product and say only that it's a toy, it's crap that it doesn't compare to real fpv quad that you make by your self and tune and loose a lot of time learning how to do.
Tell you what , if DJI wanted to do a real fpv bad boy quad for professionals the could have done it with no problem.

I just got one after many times and opportunities passing on it. But i must say coming from the Phantom 3,4 and Autel Evo 2, I must ADMIT I enjoy it :). I never flew a FPV and this has taught me the basics or a bit more if I ever decide to go into real deal FPV.
I definitely enjoy this for my first, especially due to its reliability and of course I didn't have to build it since I don't have the time neither thinking of freestyling. In addition I do love the speed compared to all other DJI products.
My only problem was the apps and compatibility. For me to use this I needed to buy a iPhone since this only supports 64 bit phone's and if you want to use the simulator you need a iPhone as the simulator app is not available for Android. I also tried a Android phone that was in the compatibility list and still didn't work. So I believe DJI has not got it right for Android yet and it doesn't look like they will especially after looking in the dji community forum, users from all over are begging for dji to fix this issue.

I just want to know why DJI put odd senseless preset altitude numbers for limits instead of letting people dial in 400'. WTH?
The DJI goggles version 2 do work with the DJI Air unit. You just need to bind it and change the setting in the goggles from the natural fpv mode. I have been flying my whoop with em.

DJ is not a stupid company they didn’t get to where they are today by making the best drone the first time. They know exactly what they’re doing to get you to buy the next generation and then the next generation and then the next generation of a drone that they could’ve built today with parts that are on the shelf hidden away in their warehouse, but where is the profit in that?

U can get rid of the prop problem in the settings on the goggles. U can crop the image so u don't see them....

I’m having issues with controller signal, after 800m the signal in the drone is weak and automatically returns to home, this happens even with low latency transmission, have anyone experienced the same?

I LOVE THIS DRONE. We want carbon fiber but were already unhappy with the price.
They should have covers on all the buttons that you could slip your finger under and switch so you don't accidentally change a button in midflight
What if you want to change a button mid flight?
I have heard the goggles won’t allow anything be the smallest glasses. I wear big bifocals. Someone said they had correction lenses that fit inside. What have you heard? Thanks, Tom
I have small glasses and they do fit inside.
I got correction lenses that snap on to the goggles in my prescription.

Wanted to add this to my fpv collection not replace it but nothing but hassle with it first one came with barometer sensor issue flew it twice, mid flight error message came up and it dropped out the sky-just shut off power so I sent it back 2 months later I received a new replacement this one has vision error fault wtf is going on how is this so unreliable I can’t even be bothered to send it back I’ll use the goggles as a spare pair and the drone is a non working shelf ornament. Just buy a iflight it’s tough you can tune it well and fix it in 10 mins
I never really liked the motion controller like it’s cool n everything but it’s honestly like a waste of money especially for fpv pilots I’m not an fpv pilot but soon I will be one so this video actually helped a lot but this drone is actually pretty decent for like fpv since I’m coming from flying cinematic drones
I said it before I’ll say it again, DJI drones are not made for freestyle or racing. They are made for cinematographers and cinematography. The fpv style bring a different shot style than a mavic. Which brings me to the avata it’s for filming in close proximity to people and objects. These are professional film making tools. Not beginner drones, yes they have manual mode but that’s for professional pilots who are also professional cinematographers.
I disagree I have this drone it's not my first fpv drone and i fly acro all the time and it performs well and I don't think this is the right drone for cinema because of its limited functions, a Mavic or a dji mini 3 have much better tools for cinema than this drone and once you start ripping with it you will not want to do cinema much anyways I don't even have a SD card in mine I just fly it for fun
I’ve seen some people really rip it.
The main problem with this is it is a product meant to take back some of the market share who only flies freestyle carbon frame drones. It looks like am ore finished consumer product than a DIY style "freestyle" frame drone. Sad but it is what it is. The newbie friendly functions of this are the REAL selling point. Someone who wants to do some shooting but not invest in the full cine drone, but also wants to do Some flippy stuff, but isnt truly invested in freestyle, can make great use of it. Its just not great at anything, more of a jack of all trades starter drone, that ends up being kind of pricey for what it is. Sadly if it was a couple degrees cheaper it would be outright Amazing.
Or yeah if it had more modularity, that would make it pretty amazing too.

Hi. And the broadcast and audience mode dont work properly. the googles with audience have a lot of lines, pixel jitter and blackouts.
Why couldn’t DJI come up with a better way of how the drone land. Why does it have to be on the battery, as time goes by of Take-off/Landing won't it get loose.

Top one problem with the DJI FPV. Now stupid people with money and no experience at all will try fly an 800 gram drone at 140kph with goggles on their face. Hell most DJI owners don't even know how to fly without GPS.
