You rarely fin current material on the career path and relevance of the BA role anywhere these days. Thanks for BCS and you lot for putting this talk together.
    - From what i've gathered today, BAs need to take abit more interest in the kind of work the stakeholders they interact with do, so they can better appropriate the most ideal task for that individual to achieve the business's outcome.
    - BAs need to become experts outside just their own domain area of expertise, so they can ask the right questions at the right time. But still maintain a healthy enough level of curiosity to ask "Stupid Questions" which can help clear up ambiguous assumptions which might've been previously held.

This may be slightly off topic and somewhat controversial, but one of my main frustrations is the way some businesses undermine the role of a BA (intentionally or not) by masking the job title into something else that mimics the BA role, thus justifying offering those candidates with pseudo-BA roles lesser remuneration. But of course, when you scrutinize the role and job description in question, it is all Business Analysis.
Business Analysts are called so for a reason - it's a great discipline and should be left at that.
This video has been insightful in more ways than one, so thank you BCS!
