I have the 400 e and it doesn’t click in anywhere. There is no tension, that I can tell. When threading, I have to hold the spool to thread , even with presser foot down. Shouldn’t it some tension on it? The stitches look good, but it breaks the thread quite a bit. I think after watching this video, I’ve found one problem I didn’t see. That second little guide, above the needle, I didn’t thread that. I still wonder about that guide on that top, not having any tension. It’s still a worry. Thanks for the video

I have a 500E and I also have a ten spool holder which is invaluable but is not Janome. I noticed that with the spool holder on your video that there is a thread guide that sits where the additional spool holder would normally sit. That would be a great addition for me but can you buy it separately? I am in Australia.
