Good grief! He's got more energy than I've got! At our age how does he do it? I could use some of whatever he eats for breakfast, just not too much - I might keel over! Wish him and family safe and happy travels. Thanks for sharing. 🙂🎼🦅✨️
Tommy has to be one of the most energetic 68 year old guys on this planet. His playing is so phenomenal and oh yeah, that younger guy playing is no slouch either. Fantastic acoustic guitar playing bar none! 🙂
Saw Tommy in Cambell, CA…this is 5th or 6th time seeing him…but first I’d heard of Rob Ickes & Trey Hensley…this tour was mind blowing!! Incredible! I took my 76 yr old mom…and blew her mind as well! She loved it!!
I can tell you now as an ozzie, Tommy is absolutely amazing. But the best ever was Tommy and Phil playing together. Phil probably had the edge on his younger brother, particularly with the electric guitar. When those two started bouncing off each other - it would just go up to another level again. I reckon they had played every town in country Australia at least once, because even way out in the sticks we got to see them live.
Do you happen to have a full recording of his performance of One Day from this show? It was my favorite song of the show and I really wished I would have gotten a recording.
Thanks for vid. Who is 2nd guitarist? Going to see Tommy in Toronto in Oct. Is he touring with 2nd guitar or was he a guest? Curious Tommy still sounds good. Cheers💙
I don't know if they are currently on tour with Tommy or not, but that is Rob Ickes on Dobro first and then his duo partner Trey Hensley on acoustic playing Guitar Boogie with Tommy. Tommy usually has his opening acts join him on stage for a number of tunes during his performance, so this is nothing out of the ordinary. Is it gonna be your first show seeing Tommy live? You'll love it. I'm gonna see him again in November here in Germany.
That us correct....Special Guests Rob Ickes (dobro) & Trey Hensle (guitar) They said that they had been on tour with Tommy but Sunday night was the end of the tour for them.
@@dotanoob2k Thanks for info! Yes...first time seeing Tommy live. First time going to any show since pre-CoVid. Thought that I better not miss the chance as Tommy's now 68
@@seanspring1360You're welcome! And you're in for an absolute treat. Tommy is a force of nature and fills every venue he plays with his great positive vibes and energy - not to mention the playing and music are spectacular!
Okay Tommy, so you are a brilliant guitar player, but how about turning the guitar over and playing it left-handed? Right. I think I've found the one thing he can't do 🙂
Have Seen Tommy Live 4 Times ...Incredible.
Tommy " the painter" I just love the guy and his music. He puts it on thick, with lots of runs !!!
He's like a freakin one man band ! ! ! ! Love this guy ! ! 🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸

One of the very best!
An excellent performer and a fabulous tour. Saw him at the Avalon in Grand Junction, CO 2/24/24.🎵

@@boatbeard7767 Awsome, I seen Tommy once in 2010 or so. Was never the same after that. lol You lucky dog. Phil was an electric monster!
Damn, come to Maui. Pure creative genius, once in a generation.
Tommy excelled himself on that one!
Awesome concert! April 7th Dunedin NZ.
Nice! Hope to hear Tommy in Durham, NC on May 7, 2024. ❤
Fantastic Guitar player......

I am sorry I did not record the entire show. So I do not have that recorded. Everything Tommy played was so beautiful and impressive!
OZ brilliance ❤❤❤
Is there a video of the complete show and setlist? I was there and i remember several songs including a spoken word piece that were awesome. Cheers!
Come to NZ

@@dotanoob2k Do you play?
What is the name of the song playing at 0:41?
Scarlett’s World
Thanks for the assist, I didn' t know the song's title.
Wonder if his hands ever cramp up ( mine do and I'm not at his level ) . 🎸🎸🎸
I'm not in the lest bit worried about Strobes, it's just watching 2 extremely talented musicians 😮😮😅
It's either energy drinks of 10 cups of coffee🤔👍👍
He sure is rough on guitars!
wow ! Roy Clark would be proud love u tommy and friends !
looks like the acid kicked in halfway through.
Strobes don't suit everyone.
C-G-P !
Okay Tommy, so you are a brilliant guitar player, but how about turning the guitar over and playing it left-handed? Right. I think I've found the one thing he can't do 🙂
Pretty sure I've seen him do so, but only briefly. Reason... left handed guitars are constructed differently and strung differently.
TE is the real deal. I know he is a Trumper, MAGA from down under, but he is a great guitarist non the less.
MAGA from Australia HA Ha HA
