- The Premium Sneaks video we shot with the Hot Wheels Design Team went a whopping 39 minutes, so we broke it up. This is Part 2. Designer Charlie Angulo joins Jimmy and Ron to talk about the castings being developed for Premium right now, plus a quick look at 1/43. Enjoy!

Seems the new guy Ron is really taking a lot of things to a new level in terms of details and casting execution. Noticing a lot better wheel fitment, ride height, wing shapes and dimensions, as discussed mirrors being implemented, and just overall casting quality. Hot Wheels needed him to come through and start putting fresh ideas and implementation into cars.
Reminds me of Ryu in a way.
I agree i really like his take on a lot of his castings he’s doing and the attention to detail is spot on. Definitely looking forward to checking out some of these in person.
He's a massive car enthusiast, scale model collector and photographer, that's where the attention to detail comes from. I'm expecting great things from the premium line in the foreseeable future.

That Viper looks amazing! Can't wait to see it in final form! Perfect job from Ron and once again I'll say I'm so glad that he's in charge now, and he cares about the small but very important details like side mirrors, trim pieces and extra bits, these are what make the model stand out. Charlie deserves equal credit as well, for also caring about the details, and doing his homework (instead of saying "I don't know, that's not my job") and for a new member, rather brilliant work on the Porsche and the Nissans. The premium line is in good hands!

Did anyone notice the Citroen Type-H van (debuted in Pop Culture's Disney 100 series last year) that was seen on this Premium board from pictures shared on social media?
I thought it was weird that it disappeared since the last Sneaks.

Just watched your F&F short that had comments turned off but I wanted to say that I think the best one is the new Porsche.
So many fantastic cars ahead. But a 1/64 version of the Stratos Z is the veritable icing on the cake. Awesome!

I think it's an IMSA or Le Mans car. The Z32 wasn't in JGTC. Not like that.
I need to pick up both Porsche Rexies in my collection.
It’s the IMSA car but the livery is pretty close but not exact to the actual race car
@@DaMotoristX One IMSA chassis did run in JGTC one year.
@@easthastings1346 Hmm I stand corrected. Not surprised though that this happened. Other cars from other series would often make their way into the initial JGTC years.

Mazda 323 is most interesting for me. Definetely hope to find it when it is released. Besides Gran Turismo 2, this car is also a DLC car in Forza Horizon 5. I had a 1990 323 Sedan version of this 323 BG generation. Gran Turismo 2 had also the 323 Sedan version, so would be great to see 323 Sedan as well in diecast :)

Not sure if that's actually a thing but it seems like we have a new basic/mainline wheel at 14:41? On the front axle, It definitely doesn't have real riders and that's something we haven't seen yet. Which is great tbh, we do need more wheels. Basics and premium, the more, the better.

The Pink chase will be the Second chase that is not black. You are forgetting the Willys truck from the drag strip set.
That one was black, it just still had all of the patina and racing graphics, so it wasn't like their other black chases in that respect :-)
