Melted is crazy
And we talking about vanilla on high performance
When I say melted I mean melted, that wasn’t hyperbole. My computer worked one day and then it stopped working the next. The internals had been melted and the data was lost.

From my experience, Modded Minecraft often consists of Steve building entire factories from grains of sand which can make more elements than there are in the periodic table, and erect great monuments with the boons from the earth, possibly limitless in size and grandness.
Meanwhile in Terraria you make a Homeless man progressively and exponentially more jacked utilizing an entire culture's worth of mystical artifacts and armories of mithril-esque metals until you can throw hands with actual God.
Both are amazing games. Minecraft however is a computer-resource-sink. Did you know that if you give it enough RAM, it will start cannibalizing its own running processes as it no longer has actual "garbage data" to collect?
Lies, Terraria is also unoptimized I installed so many mods it lags because of cpu usage and I have a 6 core processor
Something that should be noted and may be affecting that is how different games tend to perform differently on different hardware, even if one should objectively be "better" than the other (I'm not really sure how much that affects this situation). Minecraft mods: adventure, creativity
Terraria mods: GO AND KILL EVERYTHING YOU SEE EVEN THAT GOD DAMN BUNNY

I feel that what really holds back Minecraft getting more modded bosses is the lack of proper movement systems and tech like dashing or rolling.
Yes there are mods for that but compared to vanilla Minecraft, Terraria just has so much movement options for more varied boss battles since it only has to work with a 2d platform.
*plus the rlcraft, Greg tech, L_ender’s cataclysm mod, Orespawn mod, and many more offers lots of boss related content that you might seek.
I think it's more for the tools of modding being scarce, Java being way too painful to code and the Minecraft code itself being a mess

I wish there were l more progression and boss centered Minecraft mods similar to calamity . The closest I’ve seen was twilight forest and to an extent advent of ascension
That because there is no progression in Minecraft, you can destroy the Ender dragons with BEDS FOUND IN VILLAGES
@@randomboy2004 I wouldn’t say that there’s no progression but most skilled players are able to finish the game easily without the usual means of progression
there can be a mod that can make progression like during and after the ender dragon through bosses and items and dimensions
@@GhostBrianimp there is no progression in terms of boses, the ender dragon sounds more like a goal for new players to strive for and something that gates a pretty op item, at least what Minecraft lacks in combat (that is not pvp) is complemented by the other factors of the game having an extremely high skill ceiling, yet easy to get into
@@TheRealGurasic Minecraft’s progression is through items most of the time as the bosses are usually only at the end and only the ender dragon is really that important.
It would be cool to have a mod that was more combat based or having progression based on bosses. Possibly reworking Minecraft’s core gameplay and maybe even combat
There are multiple fanprojects that aim to port calamity from terraria to Minecraft.

Terraria player who farmed god for a cool shirt: "Observe"
Terraria mods are all about fighting stronger enemies and killing immensely hard bosses, while Minecraft mods are all about creativity and exploring and building, but. In my opinion, they're about machines and automation and making a big factory.
Edit: both are unfathomably hard.
idk tons about terraria’s modding scene so don’t take my word for it but from what I’ve seen, minecraft has a bigger variety of mod genres (ie: tech, quality of life, rpg, vanilla plus; etc)
Correct, except minecrafts not that difficult, just somewhat punishing at times and tedious when gathering resources. that's why I see no reason to play survival mode if I want to build something.
@@No-OneSpecial000 False. Terraria also has those mod genres, it's just the massive content mods and bosses that are posted on TH-cam most of the time. There are quite a few mods that add bosses, but most mods don't add any bosses at all (Sorry if this came off as aggressive, I'm just very passionate about Terraria and it's mods as a whole).
I feel the main issue for minecraft modding is that there is no proper guide that can be found, no way to know in what direction your supposed to go (progression ofc). So, I think minecraft mods are still pretty damn cool, but there needs to be a way to get to a guide without reading a 100 paragraph essay to understand even the basics. While terraria has that type of feature that makes the game more straight forward and all you need to do is look at images. THE GOD FORSAKEN WIKI IS MOSTLY IMAGES, AND I STILL UNDERSTAND THE GAME!
thats because terraria has an offical fanmade DLC called Tmodloader that they happily accepted
still. does not change the fact that mc needs one, plus tmodloader is not an official fan made "DLC" the dev of terraria didn't do anything about TMod because they saw people coming back to terraria, so ofc they would want to keep the mod devs of TMod around. On Minecraft's hand though, they do not give a single care in the world for mods. Plus someone else mentioned in the comments that Java is a pain to code, yet the only thing they need is a literal guide. Your point is far from correct my good sir.

With Minecraft, you would usually have an absolute ton of mods all together at once (200 is like the norm for packs) while terraria mods give you like three times as much content in a 15 mod modpack
The only difference is in terraria mods you need skill but in minecraft mods you need an entire engineering degree to understand it.
Terraria's most popular mods add way more awesome stuff than any of Minecraft's mods but there are only like 7 really good ones like that. Minecraft mods don't tend to be as good individually, but there are way more good Minecraft mods that you can combine in different ways to make an infinite number of different playing experiences with. I think they're both even, but also a tradeoff in their own ways.
terraria also has a ton of good small mods, but a lot of them really suffer because of cross-imcompability
minecraft mods tend to be made to be played in massive modpacks, the only exceptions are advent of ascension and divine rpg just cause they’re so massive and add so much but even then they are still put into modpacks
i hate the "massive modpack" fanbase so much i always have more fun adding mods i want even if they have no integration
most fun i've had was when i made a multiplayer server with minecolonies and a bunch of magic mods
we all made our cities and destroyed the map the last day and it was all worth it seeing the destruction and all the guards getting one shot
@@somo4227 I mean putting together a modpack is kinda tough if you want integrated compatibility because that's all on you. Most non-modpack related patches only exist to solve the problems between two mods, not two hundred. Having to use recipetweaker/contenttweaker and actually make your own configs and patches after you already played far enough into the game to have discovered there was an issue, overlap, or clash in your modpack, and then adjusting as you go is its own experience; but by the time you actually finish making the modpack, you already know everything that's in it, because you (scuffed as the experience was) played through it all already. That's why prebuilt modpacks are popular, since they offer a cohesive playthrough you can experience for the first time.
When I do custom modpacks, I usually just rip a small modpack off the internet that has a lot of the mods pertaining to the type of experience I want, already configured and tweaked to work together, then I add a lot of the personal flavour through additional mods which are very solid standalone experiences which can still enhance the overall playthrough, and alter config files where I predict there to be issues, overlaps, or clashes.

I love how the attacks looks pretty easy to dodge, the only problem is that the attack animations are exaggerated so much it will cause panic to the player, hence making a lot of mistakes and dying
"Don't be afraid" they said
@@ThatCzechGuy”it will be fun” my friend said at 2 am
Trust me when I say that most of the attacks are harder than they look
@@untextured4240 did you even read my comment? This is easy in terms of hitbox. Judging by the video, the attacks are very slow compared to the player (the only fast one i see is the black hole). Like i said, attacks are easy but the animations made it look hard which triggers panic. Panic = bad decisions
@@Frummy_fruits I have played the mod.
Trust.
Me.
ok, good luck to create automatic factory of everything in terraria
why would you want to do that? thats so lame
@@kaliyuga14surfer88 Factory Must Grow
@@extradimantionalcreature598you can already do that with some items in vanilla.
@@kaliyuga14surfer88 Because people enjoy it, of course. Intricate Minecraft builds for farms or generators are common. Automation games are more niche but also fairly popular in their own right.
@@kaliyuga14surfer88because I hate nature
"WHAT IN HELLS CHRIST IS THIS!?"
ah that my son is the average bullet hell boss, this one is on the easier range of the spectrum
Next up: scal boss rush mode buffed a bit
Base terraria and base minecraft and we still have a clear winner in terms of content
Yet its easier than a bunny.
Reisen?
Minecraft mods: Hey you can go to space!
Terraria Mods: You legit fight space
Nameless Deity legit has atmosphere of an undertale flower boss. Gotta play calamity only for the deity boss fight, i like videos about this fight so much
but where is gianni matragrano?
The worst part is that the boss from the minecraft clip is the wither storm, the main villain from minecraft story mode (an official game) so it's not even an original boss XD
do you think that’s the only good mod or smth 💀
Fighting man-made horrors (not) beyond human comprehension in 3D, and a literal god in 2D, this is so fricking epic 😎
Kinda unrelated but in Vampire Survivors this is basically what the vanilla game is like.
I've grown up with Minecraft.. but damn Terraria is better.
