“did she call?” 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I mean, fair question. Suzy can get it
@@BigBoyJay_69😂 relax
I was dying when TJ said that 😂
She should have
What sets Rich apart from many others is his incredible sense of humor, timing, storytelling and banter with his fellow hosts.
No
Thanks for reminding me of the one moment I was not embarrassed to be an Arizona sports fan. 🎉🎉🎉🎉
I'm a Seahawks fan and I feel like everyone already knows my eclipse moment. I imagine every Seahawks fan has the same one.
I am not a Seahawks fan, but I would guess that the name Malcolm Butler has something to do with the memory you would like to blot out.
Run the ball at the 1 when you have Marshawn Lynch maybe?
Give Lynch the damn ball at the one!
which is what?
"And Lynch fumbles the ball!!!!"....ofc running the ball with Lynch is the move in hindsight, but that pass play is actually tough to defend on the goaline. Malcom Butler made an incredible play.
13 seconds is my eclipse moment.
Bills fans have had it rough.
13 seconds of what?
@@mizer9510 Don’t make me relive it 😂
Search “Buffalo 13 seconds” it won’t be hard to find.
2001 WS is one of my all time favs. Yankee fatigue was so high at that time.
That was the most intense World Series that I can remember.
Packers fan…Bostick
Favorite memory…Viking Favre throwing the pick to the saints over the middle. “This isn’t Detroit”. Classic.
Cubs fan, 2003 NLCS game 6, the whole 8th inning. Utter devastation at the loss, but also sorrow about how the Friendly Confines were anything but that for one of our own, Mr. Steve Bartman.
Well he kind of did it to himself
Rich’s pain is a great memory for me. Watching that Series when my kids were little and Gonzo popped that ball up for the win. It was a glorious moment in AZ sports history, and we were living there and a part of it.
Pick any of the 3 Broncos 80s SB losses for my worst. But it was made all better when Elway finally got his 2 and later Manning 1 and we had moved to Denver and got to experience that.
It was more for everybody that hates the Yankees and just wanted to see them lose
God I want to relive the Luis Gonzalez moment 1000x over
4 sports moments I wanted Eclipsed out of My Memory
1. The Music City Miracle/Screwjob in the 1999 AFC Wild Card game in Tennessee. It began a 17-year playoff drought for My Bills.
2. The skate in the crease that got My Sabres in Game 6 of the 1999 Stanley Cup Finals against the Stars.
3. The controversial in-field fly rule in the 2012 NL Wild Card game that led to the Braves losing to the Cardinals in Chipper Jones' final game.
4. Shaq leaving the Magic in the 1997 off-season to sign with the Lakers.
Making me read a video title 12 times is some next level subliminal marketing.
Colorado Avalanche - Minnesota Wild, Game 7 R1 02-03 playoffs. Andrew Brunette in OT. Ended the season of the most talented team on paper of the 2000s. Ended Patrick Roy's HOF career. Ended the experiment of Kariya, Selanne, Forsberg, Sakic all on the same team. Started an almost 20 year dark age of Avs hockey.
It was glorious. Avs suck!
I was outside the stadium for game 7 2001 with a couple of friends, we were watching the game with a crowd of people on jumbo screen. When Gonzalez got that hit my buddies and I just started running and screaming give everyone high fives. As we were running a Yankees fan exited, crying.
As he left, the door stuck open. My friends and I looked at each other and made a dash for the door. The 3 of us and some random other guy got in before security closed the door. I think we did a whole lap around the concourse of the stadium, running and high fives. We made it down to the Yankee dugout for the trophy presentation. Absolutely the best money I ever spent on tickets😜
Game 7 of this world series was played on my birthday. Which is pretty cool being from Arizona... until I remember the only reason they were playing in November back then was because the season was delayed for a week after 9/11.
I often find myself being very likeminded with Rich, maybe because we're so close in age. In this case, though, his nightmare moment is my #2 favorite sports moment ever, second behind only the Red Sox comeback from 0-3 down in the 2004 ALCS, which is sports euphoria to me. And I'm a lifelong Washington football fan, but their three Super Bowl wins come in 3rd, 4th, and 5th behind Boston and Arizona denying (and to some degree ending) the Evil Empire. Glorious. Said with all due respect, cuz I love the show and I'm sure he's used to his team bein' hated on. After all, isn't that part of the joy of rooting for them, for those that do?
F the Yankees
Mine would be David Freese's triple in game 6 of the 2011 world series. But we finally got one last year so it doesn't sting quite as bad as it used to.
who's we?
@@mizer9510 Texas Rangers and Texas Rangers Fans
2016 double overtime, Michigan vs Osu.....painful.....absolutely painful, but definitely got my money's worth as a football fan.
Every World Series that my Atlanta Braves loss during that incredible stretch in the 90s throughout my childhood 😢. If it wasn't for that World Series win against the Cleveland Indians in 1995, I would be absolutely devastated to this day.
well i’m going to assume you may be a falcons fan like myself…. they have a much much much worse moment than any braves moment
Rich does have a big head, so it makes sense he'd want to make sure he forgot a terrible memory.
Best segment in a while 😂
I love this show so much.
no you don't
As a Diamondbacks fan, I **loved** the ninth inning of game 7 of the 2001 World Series. By the way, Joe Torre played the infield and outfield defense exactly the way it's played 99.999% of the time with fewer than two out in the **bottom** of the ninth inning - a situation where a deep fly ball **wins** the game. The D-backs hitters choked up on their bats, and Mariano got behind on too many hitters.
This would make an interesting segment, the one moment from each fanbase
Mine is Art Modell moving the Cleveland Browns to Baltimore😢
The one that really still kills me is the Pirates losing the 92 NLCS on that frickin Sid Bream slide play! Every time I think about it I want to punch something. The end of a great franchise right then and there.
That was the greatest moment in Arizona sports history then and still is today. The Suns have choked in 3 Finals appearances, the Cardinals had the Super Bowl slip through their fingers and into James Harrison's hands. D-Backs at least have a championship and got it in only their 4th year of existence which is a record for a franchise team.
and have sucked ever since
Mine would be the Bills comeback against the Oilers. Can't watch replays.
I cant imagine the pain it must have been to not win be able to win a 4th consecutive world series. How did Yankee fans ever recover?
The 2001 World Series was my favorite sports moment as an Arizona sports fan. The 2008 Super Bowl was probably my least. Followed by the NBA championship in 2021.
Mine would be the first pass that was called a Hail Mary. Vikings versus Cowboys, December 28, 1975, my 21st birthday. Obviously I am a Vikings fan.
You're still alive?
As a Chicago Bears fan, the DOUBLE DOINK!
Mine is finding out Andrew Luck is retiring while I was watching the preseason game that it was leaked during..
Immaculate reception be gone. A really fun segment overall.
AZ sports has one championship win in any of there 4 major sports (Cardinals, Suns, Coyotes, Diamondbacks) EVER, despite many of their teams being like a century old, and this bad man would blot it out so new york, whose yankees baseball team alone has been in 40 world series and won 27, could avoid losing one of the most exciting world series of all time?
I get its all for fun, but that's just cruel man.
Double doink or the BJ Raji pick 6. I’m a 30 year old bears fan and since I’ve been old enough to pay attention, those are pretty much the only 2 playoff years. Plus I witnessed the double doink in person.
Super Bowl 50. I've rewatched Panthers-Pats. The Panthers put up a heckuva fight as an underdog but were just one play short. Super Bowl 50 was so painful after such a great season. Between Cotchery's catch, the punt run back when everyone thought he fair caught it and I still hate Von Miller.
Hahahaha sorry Rich. Go Dbacks! That was crazy. It's truly one of those, "I remember where I was and what I was doing when I watched that game." Moments. Great for a kid from Phoenix I gotta say 🤌
I thought Chris was going to go with the Buckner ground ball
For me its the 97 World Series when i was 11. Just like brockman I can't even look at still pictures of that tragedy of a series. Damn Marlins 😢
I thought it was going to be Appalachian State beating Michigan 34-31. Single greatest day in football history.
Not even close but nice try.
I got a few but hands down the one sports moment I would erase from memory (or reality) is the tuck rule 😤
And Brady did tuck the ball you know. So the rule was really irrelevant. But the refs knew if they left it a fumble the game was over. And they figured the Raiders probably would have won anyway.
Totally agree with Chris, 100% Helmet catch be gone 😢
Shouldn’t have happened - Seymour was getting choked out on that play
That's one of the best moments ever. Cheatriots were frauds and everybody knows it.
I’ve got 2
The Helmet Catch & Ray Allen’s 3 in game 6 of 2013 NBA Finals.
Helmet catch was great.
Game 7 of the 2016 world series. The 9th inning rai. Delay that destroyed the guards momentum
You mean Indians?
Super Bowl 43, Santonio Holmes catch
John Starks 2-18 in game 7! Love Starks.. but damn!
Hank Gathers collapsing on the court; conference tournament game, 1990. Baruch dayan emet, Hank.
Mine's is game 5 of the 1995 Wild Card Series, Yankees vs the Mariners. That was the only time I actually got angry about one of the teams that I root for losing. I consider that loss worse than game 7 of the 2001 World Series or the collapse in the 2004 ALCS.
the brady fumble, 10 minute ref discussion, then subsequent Tuck is still quite painful
And he did tuck the ball, so it was even more bogus than people admit.
The fix was in. That was a fumble 100% and Cheatriots never should have won.
As a 49ers fan, I would be extremely happy if I never have to see that wasp play from Super Bowl 54 ever again.
Billy Cundiff missed FG vs New England
Oklahoma vs USC for National Championship.
Saw Dan Weldon's fatal IndyCar accident in person.
2019 Cricket World Cup final, for all my fellow Black Caps sufferers out there
Charles smith, knicks vs bulls, 93 eastern conference finals. He got blocked by all five bulls players and a few more came off the bench, blocked him too. Dude could have passed the ball after the first block
Falcons fan here. It's obvious, right?
The red wings blowing a 3-1 lead in the 2009 Stanley cup finals. Losing game 7 at home. Rough.
I know its only but i got two....'02 Fiesta Bowl between Miami and Ohio State, the BIGGEST EXAMPLE OF HIGHWAY ROBBERY in college sports history when they made up a phantom PI call on Ed Reed in the end zone on Chris Gamble that wouldve gave the Canes back to back titles and the second....The tuck rule fumble by Brady caused by Charles Woodson because if that wouldve stood as a fumble as it rightly should have, the Pats dynasty isnt even here to speak of, so Pats fans should thank the NFL for giving them that game
That's correct, because Brady did tuck the ball!
@eddievangundy4510 BS he fumbled the ball clear as day, the refs bailed him out. I watched that game and everyone said he fumbled
Two words... Double Doink
Barry Sanders retirement devastated 11 year old me.
I love you rich
Bills v Giants, wide right.
Same. (Sigh)
The interception to end Super Bowl XLIX. Give the ball to Marshawn and hoist the Lombardy Trophy back-to-back.
Josh Smith game 6 😭
Lin Elliot 1995
2015 Divisional, Catch No Catch...easy
My teams haven't played for enough Championships for me to have a specific moment I want to eclipse out of my mind. I've got a game, though. 2001 National Championship game. Oklahoma 13, Florida State 2. The worst game I've ever watched my Seminoles play.
2016 UNC final. Last 10 seconds
Wide right. I just wanted us to win one.
If I were to guess who that Yankee player was, it would be either Stanton or Clemens
Packers fan here. I wouldn't trade in all the heartbreaks; those can happen.
I'd trade in the Fail Mary game. That's the stupidest ending to a game I've ever seen.
Scott Stevens Eric lindros hit in game 7 2000 nhl ecf
Only way a player hitting on suzy back then could have been more disrespectful is if it was a D-back player 😂
mid 90s Os fan here. One name. Jeffrey. Maier. never again.
While the Michigan/Ohio State rivalry is bigger, there are more individual moments where Michigan got screwed in the Michigan/Michigan State games. How can you not want to block out of your memory the blocked punt in 2015?
Tbh I thought Rich's choice would be the Jets butt fumble. That will never get old. And I'm not even a Pats fan or a Jets hater.
I had a worst memory, but i just forgot what it was.. thats what old age does for you
As many things as I'd like to block out....no. The best mean nothing without the worst
Mine is the Dez no catch Catch 😅 we would've won the Super Bowl that year! That team deserved it
I was gonna say the Romo snap is probably more embarrassing but that entire playoff spread in NFC was misery for teams. Seattle got miserable at the end with the decision to take the safe play becoming the ultimate disaster, I had Packers fans locally here in WA that weren't even pissed they were just like...I dunno how to describe it. Zombie like. Fully believing that was their best chance at the title. Detroit fans were just as pissed about Dallas. And the Cardinals were pissed because they went 2-5 to end that season in historically bad fashion against that Carolina squad. Like that NFC playoff season was just brutal.
That last Bengals vs Steelers wildcard round. Bush league Steelers strike again with cheap shots just like they did to Palmer the time before that. Cowher boasting like it wasn't the fact they took out Palmer in order to win after the game.
😭🤧😭
Exactly right. And that's never discussed. Kimo von ohlhoffen
As a Steelers fan it'd be easy to say the Super Bowl loss to the Packers but honestly that 2017 begining blowout and embarrassment of a loss to the Jaguars is the one I'd get rid of. The thoughts and flashbacks of that game still traumatize me.
I'm a Seahawk fan.
We Should Have Run The Goddamn Ball.
[There's a 60/40 chance that'll be on my frikkin' tombstone]
As a d-backs fan, not sorry rich 😘
I would actually like to remove a positive memory of my team, Devin Hester's opening kickoff return for a touchdown in the 2006 Super Bowl. Why? Because it gave me hope.
Russell Wilson to Malcolm Butler.
Well let's see. I hate the Cheatriots, hate the Cowboys, hate the Yankees, and hate the Jets so I love all those memories. The one for me would have to be the Bartman incident. I think the world would be a better place if that never happened.
GB v AZ '09 Playoffs or the fail marry, but the AZ game.
Game 7, Lebron blocking Iguodola, not what I wanted my dad or I to see on Father’s Day
1992 NLCS Sid Bream. The end.
I'd like to erase the Seahawks not giving Marshawn the ball in Superbowl XLIX. I still have nightmares of that day!!! Lol!
For me it would have to be Brazil loosing to France in the 98 World Cup final. Or maybe the 7-1 against Germany......seeing as I had been given tickets for the final......😂
Chris Paul hurting his hamstring in 2018 😭😭😭
I’m a warriors fan: I never want to see that game 7 Kyrie step back again.
Surprised Rich didn't choose NYY blowing the '04 ALCS. Givng your rivals the champion and eventual world series.
Rich and Chris are so spoiled. The two teams they talked about went on an unbelievable run during those times, yet they complain about the two games, that didn't go that way.
Last legit NYY WSC was 1978. PED use by their players since then means none of the following titles were legit. On the other hand, neither were the BRS titles for the same reason!
Dee Ford offsides......
Johnny Carson has returned! No more guest hosts required for today. Tomorrow? Who knows?
