I say Saavedra won but that was a really good fight. Big heart by both men. Saavedra had a 10-7 round and two 10-8 rounds. And he clearly won at least two other rounds. Thats five rounds he won minimum out of 10, and three of them were by multiple points. Tapia got one 10-8 round. Even if he won 6 rounds total, he couldn't have won the fight, and he didn't win 6 rounds, no way.
WORST commentary during this fight!!!! BIAS!!!!! Saavedra winning that fight all night long and Ref not even caution Tapia or took a point for excessive holding
Tbf, that was turks personal birthday party lol he didnt care losing 10mil on his birthday having Eminem pop out. I dont think its fair to say turki hasnt been making money on actual events that he doesn't have multi million dollar music concerts in lol @DaveBoxing
That was a tough fight to score. I gave it to Tapia by 1 round, maybe if I give him the tenth. Saavedra did enough to where if he won, I wouldn't have argued it.
Why draw when Tapia lost? Punch landed, aggression, ring control and knock downs greatly in favour of Saavedra. Tapia only have cleaner shots but that's clearly not enough to get a draw.
You know I like the decision by being a draw but Tapia doesn't follow directions very well he's got his coach telling him what to do stay off the roads use the jab stay in the middle of the ring and he does all night long laid up against the ropes and would not do what his Corner told him to do why do you have coaches if you don't do what they tell you to do
Exactly, he was having so much luck and landing some great shots by staying back and using his 1-2 and when Saaverda came in close he'd often land a good uppercut. He should have stepped back and reset when that happened but instead he kept trying to fight on the inside. If they re-match he needs to stick to distance control for the win. He wants to fight like a mexican because he is one, but he just doesn't suit the style.
Great thoughts both of you! I couldn't agree more. I kept saying, wtf, get the hell away from him tapia! Your tearing him up outside and you try to fight inside when saavaedra would charge in. Tough fight, it's easy to judge for us watching, but when ya get hit hard a few times, I'm sure one thinks it's easier and safer to fight inside, but clearly it wasn't
Punch "to the back of the head" was mostly on the shoulder and maybe grazed the head. Certainly not how dude reacted. But, smart on his part to get some rest.
Tapia is a long, rangy fighter who has a great right hand. He may need some time training under another coach. I'm not saying he should leave his current trainer, but spending some time with a coach like Sugar Hill, Derrick James, or even Mark Breland could go a long way in his improvement. Seems like he likes to fight, even when it's not in his best interest. I believe those coaches know how to train a fighter with his attributes and mindset.
Vi la pelea 2 veces tremendo robo nojoda sabedra mereció la victoria con todo y cansado que estaba , esos jueces vendidos cegatos, sabedra gano esa pelea, que descaro...

Wow! This is war in attrition!

very good fight 👍
Exciting to watch. 👏👏👏
I would give the win to saavedra by little more points. Awesome fight for two warriors. Congratulations to both 🥊
Man The PBC Fell Off, Should Of Linked Up With Turki
Huh? So they can lose $10 million like Turki did for the Crawford/Madrimov card? 😂 they're in the business of making money, not charity.
@@DaveBoxingthey were selling tickets for $1 for this event, how is that making money?
Nowhere in your reply did you explain how they lost money on this event, let alone $10 million lol
turki sucks lmao , weak crowds 1 hour long concerts , hella robberies and weak commentators
Tbf, that was turks personal birthday party lol he didnt care losing 10mil on his birthday having Eminem pop out. I dont think its fair to say turki hasnt been making money on actual events that he doesn't have multi million dollar music concerts in lol @DaveBoxing

Saavedra won that hands down. He scored 3 knockdowns to his opp only scored 1.
Why draw when Tapia lost?

Tapia only have cleaner shots but that's clearly not enough to get a draw.

The Jaggster
Tapia was supposed to win to be the mandatory for Tim tyzu in austraila for pbs. But some people didnt follow the script👀
I leaned towards saavedra
I think Saavedra won that fight because of the 9th round Knock down of Tapia?
@@letsreasonoutTV that's a fair assesment
@@anthonywilson4181 yes! No matter what. The judges decision will always prevail!
No a minute left in the 9th round, duh
THIS REFERE VERY FAVORS TAPIA. HE COUNTS 1 2 3 OF SECONDS VERY VERY SLOW...AND HE REFEREE SHOULD STOPPED THE FIGHT AT 9TH.ROUND
Punch "to the back of the head" was mostly on the shoulder and maybe grazed the head. Certainly not how dude reacted. But, smart on his part to get some rest.
Fair decision. Both men fought well. 💯
