  • A followup run to the Box to the Bench run. This run I have removed the low speed needle limiter and tuned the engine properly. I am running Omega 15% 4 stroke fuel, a Hangar 9 Super plug and an APC 12x6 prop.

I like the way the evolution ENGINES look and they seem to run pretty smoothly I've been looking for one for a while now!

Funny, I seriously dislike the way they look. They focused more on looks than quality or how they run IMO.

Reminds me of some of the old fiberglas ski boats from back in the late 1950s or so where they put the tail fins on them.

just picked one up that looked to have low run time, now I know why, think a small wheel puller could get that flywheel off?

I've got an ASP .46 and one Evo .61NT to use on a .40 sized plane. I want speed. I've got an 11.5x7 apc like prop.
I don't mind the extra weight cause I can put some servos out the back to compensate. Which engine do you think will give it more speed and a better scream?

save the flywheel for the pier to use as a sinker to fish with. motor runs dam good.

LOL! I am saving it. Just in the event I decide to sell this engine, I want to sell it with all if the stuff it came with.

They run very nice but do not like below 40 degree weather get a lot of dead sticks with them

David how hard was it to remove the training wheels on the carb

There is a set screw on each of them. Unscrew it to loosen. Remove HSN and pull it off. Very easy. Even better, once you tune the engine properly you can put them back on and continue to keep the nice blue colored pieces on the engine. .
