We need these tests, even if the answer is No!

Hey Driver53. Just watched DJ's video on fast farming and wanted to thank you for finding the self made weight for speed farming.

Too bad. Makes you wonder if mulching does do anything with precision farming.

Thank for doing these videos. It helps a lot. And love sending people your way for information videos.

You do not get nitrogen, but you still get the small yield bump like vanilla play.

But do we still get the yield bonus from mulching, or did precision farming make that obsolete?

thats what i wanna know lol still unsure how plowing works now i know you should use direct drill but what if your not do you turn plowing off an ignore all plows in game do you leave it on but not plow an lose 15% so many questions about how this works feels like release day again when i was confused about rolling beofre or after seed or mulching took days before someone figured it out an said this is the method you use then if you add the rock picking it was creating seedbed which also had no clue about had to google what it was lol but stone picker also cultivates so some tuturials would say to rock pick then cultivate after an ended up with so many different feild filters im glad ppl are sharing this info because id never be able to figure it out otherwise

What about plowing, I thought that reduces the environmental score but my feilds all need plowing?

been looking for anwser to that for few days hopfully video comes out soon from someone all ones ive watched show how to get best score with direct drilling no cultivating or plowing needed seeders but theres only like 5 direct drills so why does game have 300 3m cultivators an plows an disc harrows an spaders an subsoilers like do we just ignore all them now an do we turn periodic plowing off im so confused

@@TakenCypress369 if you have to plow, plow, use a direct drill seeder or planter, then spray with herbicide with a see n sprayer capable sprayer (base game only the john deer sprayer is capable) you shouldnt use any herbicide, but youll have your field plowed and no herbicide used with the best possible enviro score for that part of the process

@@cavemanbonk8320 Also FYI 2 points in regards to See and Spray capable sprayer. (1) There are two available in the Kubota pack one is a much smaller and a cheaper option than base game the other is similar but can be upgraded to a wider working width than the base game one can. My preference is going biggest because of the 39k (on top of the base price of the sprayer) cost for installing the see and spray tech. For the sprayer and installation of the tech the smaller one is around 65k and the larger is 100k and 39k of that is the cost of the tech upgrade (2) The See and Spray tech is also beneficial when spraying liquid fertilizer as well because the spray nozzles will fire individually just like they do for weeds. If for example you are overlapping the edges of each pass the jets over the already sprayed area will not fire. This does not happen with normal sprayers either all fire or none. You are not exactly correct in saying you can only achieve the best possible score by using no herbicide, you actually achieve the best score using herbicide as long as you are using See & Spray Technology. I've been using the See and Spray and always spraying for weeds when they appear and am getting the max 30 points enviro bonus for weeds. If you use the mechanical methods you get 20 points. You get 15 points for spraying the whole field with herbicide and 10 points for doing nothing and letting weeds grow. Phew! that is a mouthful

@@TakenCypress369 I have seen a few posts on this subject and from what most say you just plow when you have to and cop the drop in your environmental score. It will only effect your score by 10 points at most, cost wise its only going to effect your selling bonus by about 1%. What probably needs to be looked into is the effects on periodical plowing that different tilling methods have, I'm just guessing here but all those new methods for tilling could have an effect on how often you need to plow.

Hi Driver53, just wanted to let you know that I'd be interested in sponsoring you. Sent you an email so feel free to get back to me if that sounds like something you'd be open to. Very cool video by the way, you're like a scientist uncovering the game mechanics.
