Thanks. A few other ways to add even more yield... If 'needs plowing' you can plow THEN use a direct drill, you still get max pf points for tillage. This stops weeds, but just do a few meters with the spot sprayer and you'll get max pf points for weeds (and use zero herbicide). Mulch previous crop and roll after seeding = absolute max potential.
As far as the sensors go, the sensor on the front of the tractor is the only way to go truthfully as it can be used night and day. Mirror mounted can only be used during day hours. Awesome video and I picked up some great tips in the comments as well from your community. Take care and thanks for sharing!
the downside was your yield was way off, 12% loss when it came to harvest. lime, mulch, plow, stone picker, direct sow with solid fert, roll, spray with spot herb. wait 1 month and spray with spot fertilizer would give you max yield and max eco score.
Thank you! Let's say that none of this info is new for me. But the way you show will make difference when I put this knowledge on my fields later tonight My highest score was 85, since I plowed and didn't used the spot spray, wasting a lot of herbicide. 👏😊☺
Hi there! I have Courseplay the problem is that when I’m using the direct drill, the course play will stop because I need to use solid fertilizer when I saw your video, I don’t see you using fertilizer on the direct drill until 2:21. What to do?
The drill used in the upload doesn't have an option to fertilize. I've never had a problem with courseplay apart from trying to use it with the Class saddletrac. If I'm using a saddletrac then I do a headland or two manually and just use an ordinary worker for the rest.
@@Sepa0306 no problem. Thus far I think (I say “think” because right now I’m in my truck on the road so going off memory here) my routine has been: Buy field info (if needed), mulch, lime, seed, roll, slurry (slurry sensor unit added), wait for growth, herbicide, wait for green leaf growth (stage depends on crop. Example Sorghum I wait for stage 2, wheat stage 4, etc.), fertilize with crop sensors on, harvest. I consistently get a 99 score, though, and have never gotten a 100, so this weekend I plan to eliminate slurry and do in order of this video, keeping mulching and rolling, to see if I can finally nail the ever elusive 100 score. Not sure why I always get 99 but folks have told me it’s definitely not due to mulching or rolling as those both have absolutely zero effect on environmental score.

@Driver53 Gaming I tried it on Iowa Plains planted wheat on the starting corn field, done one pass full 70km next pass back limited it to 13 km I seen a fair difference in the passes. That was before the new update. I found then it's better to go faster.
If you want to try it the fine details was wheat with 98% yield 100% fert I started facing away from the road next to field 8 and traveled towards the river, header width apart on passes.
@Driver53 Gaming no I was not, and it was in the first month of starting the map, 4 day seasons, 0.5 time, I just plowed up the corn planted with lemken 12 m air seeder, rolled, fert, and fert again after first stage of growth
@FM60260 the trick to Precision Farming is to make sure you aren't over applying fert and lime. If you set everything to max it can reduce yield. Best strategy is to make sure automatic application rate is on.

It also makes your crop sell prices higher... And if done right, everytime you sell something you get a "environmental score reward bonus".... For example when I sold a semi-truck load of honey, I got like a $7k + bonus on top of the sale. But I've also read if your score gets too low (unknown number) you can actually get charged a fee. So it only needs one pass of fertilizer? Is it indifferent if done before tillage or at the first level of growth?
