Thanks. I just sort of made the route on OS maps. Head across the estuary from Barmouth. Walk down the side of the estuary on the cross britain way. Turn inland at Abergwynant following roads and tracks to Tynyceunant. Then up the pony track to the summint (and back)...
Thanks. I use the OS app for my maps. I made the route myself. Essentially walked up the estuary and then turned inland at the nearest point to Cadair.
I really enjoyed that romp! I had great weather. I think there's a hut on the summit but i didn't go in as was very busy. But i would check that before believing me!!
Sorry there's sound problems I have just re watched a bit of it and it seems ok to me. Apologies for butchery of the Welsh language! Any help there is appreciated!! All the best.
Magical, what a walk, what scenery. The best yet. Thanks for sharing. X
This might be my fav video of yours. I may say that every time but I mean it this time. Wow we live in a beautiful part of the world!
Hope to do cadair Idris in the next few months, your vid was an insight to where I’m going.

Hope to do the walk this year, with my dog, and carrying lightweight bivvying kit. So it will be a 2-day walk.

@@gonehiking9297 There is a refuge, yes. I would not want to sleep in it, but would sleep in woodlands at lower altitude.
Hi. How long did it take you to do the trip from Barmouth to the top and back? I need to do this walk. Thanks
I set out at 8.30 am and got back at 5.30pm. It was a long day. Did stop to film and spent 45 min on the top.
I would try to pronounce it for you if I could hear what you were saying.
