I found one at Walmart yesterday.

Both of us ran towards it, I jumped, grabbed it, and ran. Lol

I take it all back. It does have rubber wheels! It really is a spectacular car, with its beauty found in its simplicity.

For those who don't know, the term "First Batmobile" refers to the 1st time the car is called "Batmobile" in DC comics #48, Feb 1941. This car by my count is car number 8 of various red, blue and black combinations of hard top coupes, sedans and convertibles. In BATMAN, Summer 1940 he wrecks one (blue) car while being chased by the police to emerge from a different blue (or black and blue) car a few panels later. [Holy Multi-timeline!] The Hot Wheels car seems to be a Willys (pronounced like Bruce Willis) modified into a convertible with a streamlined headrest popular with Land Speed Record racers like airplanes of the 30's. I haven't either, just bought one, today. Awesome. Glad, found, it. I have big batmiles like 89, from hot toys, elite batmobile, etc, an others. No other did I see in the, store. Just caught my, eye. Thanks much for the, review. April 27th 2024.

When it first came out, they added Batman and Robin , sitting in the car.
Why do they changed on that

They also changed the number plates, I guess that this in in order not to reduce the collectabilty of the first issued one from 2021. Mark that the current one is made in Indonesia and the former one was made in Thailand, I believe.

The first MATTEL issued "First Batmobile" was for the San Diego Comic Convention (SDCC.) It has the figures and that makes it distinct and highly collectible. If you purchase it today expect to pay $80 - $150. But think about it, that car is a promotion/commercial for this car which MATTEL will sell alot of for $8 - $20. Figures add cost and value. Figures can be 3-D resin printed or repo Corgi Junior/Husky figures purchased on eBay for less than $20. What makes the MATTEL figures so distinctly cool is that they accurately represent the comic panel art where Robin is sitting on his cape and Batnan's cape is dramatically flailing outside off the back.
