I'm really impressed with the playability and durability of these. They don't look like you've got to be overly careful with them. Just wish they could prioritize crunching forward rather than that absurd back bend.
I think the chain with the wrist is them trying to imitate their 1st chapter master, Sigismund. Something to do with his sword being a part of him. Great video 👍
The chains are so they're never without a weapon, and they can't even put their weapons down until their enemies fall or THEY do. They take all that "DEATH TO THE ENEMIES OF MAN" nonsense WAY too seriously.
All templars do it in honour of their first chapter master sigismund. However few if any know he took the tradition from time spent with the world eaters pre heresy
