the optimizer controls fuel sence its fuel injected. makes up the difference with the pipe and snorkel sence they lean out the mixture. and very easy to use, just keep a watch on that spark plug and make sure it stays beer bottle brown! good luck!

it was pretty easy, i bought it used and i had to make a small bracket to hold the bottom bolt, not sure if i was missing somthing or not sence it was used, and no, its fuel injected, thats the optimizers job. thanks

for the most part performance wise no its just opening up the exhaust..i love hmf though iv had alot of luck with them and stick with them. now on some quads you can take to much back preasure out and can hurt them, my 700 didnt seem to care either way. the penland has a baffle to help with that but i couldnt tell any difference, good luck!

the optimizer richens up the fuel/air ratio for the exhaust and air intake mods. and yes very easy, plug and play

Cool, I want to do the same thing to my 2008 AC 700EFI 4x4. The problem I'm having is finding parts

well i would take it a new one would be easy..i bought mine off ebay and i think it was missing a thing or two. i had to make a plate for the bottom to bolt up to. but besides that it was not bad at all. and mines fuel injected so thats why i have the optimizer. Though most of the time just a pipe you can get away without jetting. not always though. if you did a full exhaust or any air intake mod you definitly need to jet your carb. keep that spark plug beer bottle brown. good luck!

It's not a torque converter it's the quiet core insert. Look at their website you'll see. The torque range modifier is completely different. The reason it's more high pitch with it in is it's supposed to quiet the quad like 6 decibels. I had to put one in my HMF cause it was too loud for around my house(2006 outlaw 500). You said you bought it used so I'm assuming the guy before you put it in.

If you don't mind please tell me how to get to the spark plug. I'm not having luck reaching it.

+llwizzoll I find it easiest to get to it from the left side. take the inner fender well out of the way. It takes like a 4" or 6" socket extension to reach down through the head. Nice brown color spark plug is the best. good luck!

27" mud lite xtr's. they are great. a little to aggressive for me but they do great in the mud and don't slow it down to much.
