@@ktoutdoor just did this morning and its not running hot anymore as far as putting it in a dark ass shed after about 5 minutes of hard riding gonna recheck tonight hopin its good now
Just curious I watched another artic cat snorkel vid and they snorkeled the rear pipe on the drive belt box as well...Its a pain to get too. Did you not think it is necessary and have you tried deep water with just the 2 snorkels...Thank you for the vid...
I never had to adjust my carburetor if I was you I would take your carburetor apart give it a good cleaning and maybe get you a set of torch cleaning files and open up the jet slightly

Did you have to rejet im in florida and my 500 is running lean with 2 inch snorkels the header pipe is getting red hot
Try adding a air restricker like I did

Yes I have crossed a lot of deep water with not problems. and no belt slippage
What did you use as the restriction ? I’m having same issue
Any plastic will do I use the lid off an old plastic tote and cut it with a pair of tin snips till it would fit the pipe just right

How many turns out is your air fuel screw on carburetor? still getting a little red hot not as bad though with the restrictor

Would it have been better to turn the snorkels around and face you instead of the front of the quad? Would that help with less airflow?

No its all ready sealed tight from the factory. You might look at the small vent hose coming off the carb to see how high it goes.
