- As I relax and regroup beforenhitting thenroad again in my minivan camper I thought I would give my Glowbies a little peak into my home life off the road. When I am not on the road camping, boondocking and traveling to do interviews for content for you Inspend time with family and friends who live in sticks and bricks.
Come on a little tour with me as Inshow you what that looks like. If you want to see more of my life off the road let me know in the comments and I might just oblige😊 I also share a little information about an upcoming video about changes that could be coming that could completely devestate low income folks, especially seniors.
What a lovely expansive home. Wouldnt it b rewarding if you could help some low income seniors by temporarily housing them in your home if u could? I realize its not that easy to trust anybody your sanctuary but wouldnt it b nice❤. Just wishful thinking. Not all with means to help others can b openly generous. Goodluck in your tiny house dreams🎉
Well bless your heart. Actually this is not.my.home. It is my daughter's. And btw in addition to her and her husband she has 4 children, a foreign exchange student from China and another teen who needed a place to live housed there. Just a note, I have found that it is wise to actually know what one is talking about before making uninformed assumptions!

Your oldest daughter has such a lovely home... and even goats (or did you say sheep)! My gosh, she is so fortunate... I feel lucky to have what i have too, even if my place is very modest. I am filled with thankfulness! I like to think of my glass as half full and not compare what i have to others... what's the use in that. I am mostly healthy as well, though I am developing issues as we age.

Too many folks didn't research this, unfortunately. My mom is on SSI and my brother on SSD, so we were paying attention years ago. I know I mention it all the time, but that's why I watch prepper channels, and taking care of our health as we get older is so important too. I guess we'll see what next year brings. Looking forward to your thoughts on all this, and love the house. Beautiful, cozy kitchen. Have a good weekend.

I love how you care so much for others. I am concerned too. I am nervous to learn more as I feel pretty helpless from the behaviors I have seen so far as to some of the cabinet members who are enjoying their power. Gorgeous house, Glorious. I thought you lived in a van! I can see, you are someone who had planned for the later part of your life. I'm going to follow your footsteps and prepared for retirement. Thanks
No. I do not live fulltime in a van although I have traveled.and boondocked well over100k miles in a van over the past 5 years. The home I was at is actually my daughter's. But I do also have a home I greatly enjoy when I am not on the road. I have done my best to prepare for retirement which includes having more than one stream of income so I am not depending on SS for the bulk of my retirement income. It is possible but as you probably know it does take advance planning. Thr main think is if I use a credit card I pay it off in full at the end of the month as carrying credit card debt is a serious problem in retirement.

Hello Janet, that is actually my daughter's lpvely home. But I do have a homebase from which ai travel. Although I do have a mortgage I am quite fortunate that it is exttrmely reasonable.
We had the table like that but the rest of the house was just enough for my wife and I to enjoy. We entertained a lot of people.

I live in Texas where unfortunately Ted Cruz won re-election for the third time. I did my best trying to warn my friends and acquaintances about Project 2025 and how that will affect us seniors if it is implemented, starting with them increasing the age of retirement. I guess I didn't do a good enough job as they voted for him...😢

My desire is to buy land and develop an affordable tiny house community that will provide a place for people to live who have been priced out of the rental market. I hope to charge nommore than half of whatever the market rent is.

This is actually my daughter's ajd her husband's home. I spent Thanksgiving with them and will probably also spend Christmas there. It is indeed a lovely sanctuary. Is that an 1800 stove/oven combo? Your house is beautiful. I am hoping to have an older stove oven to keep the house clean and cook food down the line. Anyhow I wondered about your life, thanks for sharing. We want one of those so we can go off-grid. We found the town we want. We started church there 3 months ago but sadly, the fixer upper home fell thru. God didn't have that home as part of his plan. The home is actually my daughter's and her husband's. The stove is an original dating back to I believe the 1700s. Crazy story how my daughter found it. A realtor was sellijg a home and the owners left the stove behind. Can you believe that!! It has the date etched in it. My daughter saw the stove posted for sale and was able to buy it for literally practically nothing!!
I like early mornings too. So quiet and still. Good for reflection, prayers, meditation.

Yes the holidays especially Christmas can be sad for some. Please keep those affected by Hurricane Helene in your prayers especially here in western NC.
That 2025 project is not coming to fruition. Being informed includes separating fact from rumor of some trying to influence the voters in the past & it continues. Writing to our elected officials is important & holding them accountable to their promises. I pray we can come together, help one another. And pray for those that are not only depressed as you said but angry & have unforgiveness in their hearts. Let's not fear but keep looking up ✝️.

I still have to heckle you though, when you mention your second cup of coffee... Maybe that's something to work on along with red meat.
Before folks get on my case, it's intended as a friendly tease; I have my own vices to deal with. I have no idea how much coffee or meat she consumes and it's none of my business; I only brought it up because Carol mentions red meat from time to time. In reality, both red meat and caffeine can be beneficial in moderation.
I tell you after cutting back on red meat and high fat foods for awhile now I truly felt it after eating like I did on Thanksgiving 🤣🤣😍 I may have to change my plans for what I get to eat at Christmas!!!

Well given that all the Build Back Better infrastructure bill that Biden had gotten signed in his term should be taking effect in the next year or two which would add more infrastructure jobs and economic improvement to the economy. That is as long as trump doesn’t tank the economy by putting tariffs on everything and shipping back everyone who is working the low levels jobs in agriculture and meat production.

I don't celebrate Thanksgiving because it's everyday, not once a year. I use, I think Thanksgiving is what all the hypocrites come out to falsely pretend that they helped everybody else out just to make themselves look good cause you got a lot of false people out there pushing that narrative but Thanksgiving is every day. Not once a year you keep your blessings every year. I take nothing for granted. And I love my blessings every day. Not once a year, but that's me.

I started.out as a cooking show but I did my cooking from inside my van showing how to cook easy meals.on a simple butane stove. I keep.planning to do some more cooking videos but just haven't.gotten around to it.

I've read project 2025 and am terrified. Live in a minivan in a red state, the behavior of the people here is unbelievable.
