Joseph Kappen died at the age of 48. He killed 3 teenage girls. Sickening creep. His family tried to block his exhumation as it would disturb the grave of his stepfather. Strange thing to object to.
28:35 - the bombs were made by a businessman with an IT background, who was also training as a magistrate. The reasons were unknown but police thought possibly he intended to target an ex's new partner. He initially claimed he had been blackmailed into obtaining components but had not made the bombs; at the start of his trial he finally admitted making the bombs but tried to claim he did so intending to use them to commit suicide. He was convicted and jailed for five years.
I remember watching this the first time it aired about Damilola & for some reason I thought he was older than he was, not that it matters I’m just glad they got them in the end
Made me cry for the second victim. 😢 55 years work just to save £16,000! I'd have helped her acquire her C'estui que vie had I known how to help her do so. As for the thugs that did the deed...I just don't want to think about them.

They found out who killer was of 2 girls but killer had died in 1990. Police reopen case in 2001. They made documentary drama last year got released to BBC 1 Wales how they discovered who killer of 2 girls in 1973. You catch up on BBC 1 I played.
It's so true. SADLY, we never hear about all millions of GOOD people who helped total strangers, young and old get from A to B. And what about the good people who were attacked by someone they gave a ride to, rare but it happens. The risk just isn't worth it especially for kids. The younger you are....male or female....just DON'T do it!!
Pauline and jeroline could be the victims of Peter sutciffe because Peter sutciffe was truck driver and traveled up and down the country even car they were travelling in sutciffe had same car
@@buttonmoon1978 The most recent article I could find on it was in 2007 when the police claimed "the net was closing in on the truck driver" Bizarrely the case isn't mentioned on the unsolved murders UK website or on the Wikipedia page about unsolved murders. My own personal opinion is the bloke is a foreigner who did a runner or he's now dead himself.
Nobody has been charged but there are similarites to the Camden ripper Anthony hardy who was active at the time but nothing can be tied to him. He murdered and cut up some of his victims and dumped them in the Thames so the similarities are there. He died in prison in 2020 so the likelyhood of a trial for him now is at zero
