Thanks so much for posting this! My dad (Evan Thomas) was born and raised next door in Cwmbach. Circa 1973 he and wife Delores bought and ran the sub post office in Mountain Ash

Born and bred in my town - no doubt , I'll die here , love Mountain Ash . All my children and grand children are here, it's home, couldn't or want to be anywhere else - home is where the heart is, that say's it all . Aberpennar 🖤💛🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

I live 4,000 miles away in the US. I miss my home very much. My kids and grandkids are there and it hurts. By the way, I'm the young lad on the sea-saw in the opining picture. A long time ago now.

Thank you for posting this video. It is a great compilation and historical record of life in the valley towns. It brought back many memories of my early years there.

Thank you for sharing, My Nan and Great Grandparents were from Mountain Ash, My Great Grandfather was a miner and eventually died of the miner's disease here in Sussex, It is really interesting to see where they lived.

Sosban Fach is the name. Can't remember the choir who sang it. It's an old Welsh folk song.
