Here in the US, a union used to be for helping people have good working conditions, decent wages, etc. Now, unions only exist for getting labor union leaders, or members in high positions, larger wages than everyone else. *Unions in the US will use licensing, training, and weird tasks as an excuse for them getting paid more.* Example: People painting a place might have to us a small brush to do the work, because a labor union is trying to increase their work hours, so rhey can get paid more. It is common for unions to make businesses inefficient/ slow because they want more money.
