Just wanted to know what lens you were using on the ZF to photograph the river in this video, I recently purchased a Nikon ZF and I have a few primes from Voightlander, Viltrox and a 50mm. F1.8 Nikon S lens along with the 28-75 f 2.8.
Beautiful images and excellent video, ZJ! As a Z8 landscape, product and occasional wildlife photographer, I am quite pleased with the sharpness and detail I get in large prints (30" x 40").Have you found that the Zf's 24 MP sensor is also capable of large prints? Thanks again sir!
Thanks Steve! I haven't printed anything large with the Zf, but I have printed 24" x 36" prints with FF cameras that have similar resolution as the Zf and was very pleased with the results. In general though, I'd prefer to stick with higher MP files for larger prints, even if most people won't see a difference at normal viewing distances.
@@ZJMichaels Makes perfect sense, ZJ...thanks! (Admittedly, I'm somewhat of a "pixel peeper" when it comes to image sharpness and detail, which is why I asked the question.) That said, I am a bit hesitant to go from 45MP back to 24MP, in the event that I would print an image large...but I do realize and agree that, as you said, most folks "wouldn't see a difference at normal viewing distances." Thanks again, and enjoy the Zf...it IS tempting! :-)
If i had 1 suggestion on the second photo..may be if you dont leave the exposure so long..the water would be a little less blurry, and you could still see a bit of the water movement. Sometimes, it's just my opinion as much as we like the milky smooth water flow...its also really nice to not have the water super milky...having a bit of the rough texture or the original flow is nice too. 😊
Funny you mention that… I was thinking earlier that I wish I would have taken some shots at faster shutter speeds to show more of the power and force of the river. Great advice!
Check the video description for gear discounts, my gear list, and more. Thanks for watching!
Nice photos! Thanks for taking us along your trip
Thanks a ton!

What L-bracket did you use for the vertical shots?
It’s a RRS L bracket. There’s a link to it in the video description for more info
@@ZJMichaels Thx!
