6:00 - I believe it's a platform for watching the race. There was a guy who had a very similar set up in at tree at turn 2 on drivers left at this year's 1000. He climbs up there and attaches himself to the tree like a rock climber and sits between the 2 "prongs" on some fabric like a hammock. I think I took a photo of it, I'll have to have a search
There is no way I would notice all these little intricacies as I am usually trying not to die for most of my lap. A fantastic insight to some of your hard work at iRacing. Well done :)
Now you just have to scan Australia's new premier race track - "The Bend" in South Australia ... Cant wait. BTY - Bathurst is my favourite track in Iracing.
incredible work you've Guy's have done .... I have THE following projects ^^ Nürburgring & Nordschleife Le mans but first i'll enjoy some time on the mountain :-)
Great video! and really great track. i'd love to get more european tracks to iracing. nurburgring (nordschleife propably will never be there... it would be awesome though) , imola (have to be there at some point) and monza.
3 Years later I'm gonna respond: They can't just fix physics. They have to continue adding to the model to get to that point. That's the point of multi-body physics.
Great to see this track but why are the trees so bad? Having lived there is looks all wrong because if those little details off the track. Sony did a perfect copy....why could you not?

Worth every minute of manpower you put into it. Thanks, guys! :D
Absolutely amazing. I love driving this track. Hope to see more videos like this in the future. Super cool! Thanks iRacing!
Amazing track, thank you to everyone at iRacing for putting the amount of love they do into the sim.
Wow, what a beautiful track! And you guys did a great job with the modeling, I love all the details.
great video guys!
This kind of stuff interests me more than the actual racing of iRacing. Does this make me a bad person?
Great video guys.

At 6:12, in the tree, that is a seat! Can't believe you guys didn't figure thattone out! Good work
yes, its left over from the 80's where spectators would climb up on to a platform, long since rotted away, and watch the race from.
Terrific insights - thanks
Give this track out to bf4 and we can play fps games on it.
33 seconds - circuit of the Americas! keeeeen
Great video!

Good stuff, thanks.
It would be nice if we could get monza and my favorite track of auto club speedway
Sweet.
Perfect track recreation. Now it's time you fix the physics.

Is this sim better than Assetto Corsa?
